EXCLUSIVE: Camp Set To Sign Thu 02 Jul 2009 Nottingham Forest are poised to make Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Lee Camp their fourth signing of the week.
Chairman Nigel Doughty has revealed the club have agreed an undisclosed fee with Rangers for the 24 year old.
The former England Under 21 international has agreed personal terms with The Reds over a four-year contract.
Mr Doughty said: "We've now agreed terms with Queens Park Rangers for Lee Camp and agreed terms with his advisor.
"So subject to a medical in the next 24/48 hours, we should be able to announce our fourth signing of the week."
Camp is poised to undergo a medical in the next 24 hours before sealing his City Ground return.
The former Derby man spent three months on loan on Trentside last season, making 15 appearances.
He's best remembered by Forest fans for his stunning last-gasp penalty save against his former club Derby in the 1-1 Championship draw at Pride Park.
Already this week Forest have captured David McGoldrick for £1million from Southampton, Paul Anderson for £250,000 from Liverpool and Dele Adebola on a free transfer from Bristol City.

Out of favor with the owners!! Balderdash. This martinet went into a meltdown when he let that goal in against chelsea. A capital offence. Banish him!!. Managers have felt the same wrath Dex too, Anyone that speaks out.
Delaney has uttered some treasonous mutterings, the fans are unfaithful by booing, not showing up enough, moaning about money for tickets. All unappreciative of him and his saviour qualities. Ill show them who is boss!. You think its a lousy team, Ill show you what a lousy team is you malcontents; and keep it up, ok,keep it up, then Queens Park Rangers could be in severe trouble.

More PR bullshit. ........The Club would like to place on the record its thanks to John and wish him all the best for the future.
One gets sick of reading those sort of statements even if they are only there for politeness or PR

Lee Camp Speaks...Nott F Official Site - Billy Appeal Lures Camp Fri 03 Jul 2009 The opportunity to work again for Billy Davies was the key factor behind Lee Camp's desire to join Nottingham Forest. The 24 year old finally got his wish today as he signed a four-year contract after Forest paid Queens Park Rangers an undisclosed fee. Camp played briefly under Davies for Derby and had another taste of the Scot's methods last season during his loan spell at The City Ground. And he told us: "I enjoyed the time I had on loan with Forest and built up a good rapport with the fans. "But the big thing for me is Billy - I know what he's all about and what he'll want to do and how he will approach things. "And having worked with him and his backroom staff before, it all fits. "It ticks every box and although being at home and closer to my family is important to me as well, essentially my motivation was to come and play for Nottingham Forest." The former England Under 21 international made 15 loan appearances for The Reds last season and had hoped the two clubs would strike a deal during the January transfer window. That never materialised and Camp is happy his patience has been rewarded. He added: "There's always a doubt that a deal won't go through but I had pretty much made up my mind as soon as I knew the club were interested. "I've worked with Billy before and know what he's all about. I'm very excited, am pleased that it's all done and dusted and can't wait for it to start." www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10308~1712901,00.html
