"...The Seasiders have a miserable record at Rangers. They have only ever won once at Loftus Road, in 1972 when a Keith Dyson strike secured a 1-0 victory" - I was there Actually it was Rodney Marsh's last home game for QPR

BEN Burgess is looking forward to meeting up with an old mate on the first day of the season.
The Seasiders striker is close friends with Kaspars Gorkss, who departed Bloomfield Road to join QPR last summer.
Burgess was gutted he didn't get the chance to play against Gorkss when the sides met last season.
Gorkss didn't play in the Loftus Road encounter, while Burgess was injured for the return.
"I watched that home match from the stands – they beat us 3-0 and gave us a bit of a spanking so it's time to get our own back I think," said Burgess.
"It's mad how it's turned out, with Ian Holloway going back to his old club.
"But for me it will be good to play against Kaspars because he's a good friend and we got on really well when he was at Blackpool.
"It will be nice to have a good battle with him for 90 minutes and I'm sure he'll kick me up in the air a few times!"
The Seasiders have a miserable record at Rangers. They have only ever won once at Loftus Road, in 1972 when a Keith Dyson strike secured a 1-0 victory.
And with QPR determined to get their season off to a flying start under new manager Jim Magilton, it will be a big ask to kick off with a three-point haul.
"I wanted a home fixture first up and we've got that," said Magilton.
"The fact it's Ian Holloway adds a bit of spice to the occasion.
"Both managers will be really looking forward to it for obvious reasons – it will be a really special day."
