He was discussing redundancy terms as the club had "financial constraints". I guess terms have been agreed. The explanantion I got from the club didn't seem that credible but, judging by the way things are going over the replacement manager and the quality of the signings that have been rumoured, it seems that FB/BE et al are pulling in the purse strings. If they weren't paying 2 MDs, a Sporting Director and ridiculous money to average Championship players, they might be able to afford a coach that probably costs less than £50k per annum. But then I probably don't understand business.

I think you have a good understanding of business derby. As do the owners.
The problem is, the owners do not understand the business of football. Let's hope they are learning.
