Bushman: Are you involved with the" QPR History Group" (which I don't think I knew existed as a formal group)
And said Dave Robinson was no involved with QPR any more. Maybe I missed that, but I hadn't seen that before

From what i know Dave left a few weeks back to do his own thing. Its clear from what he has said to some of his match day drinking pals that things at the club are not what they once were which is a real shame. He had been at the club 8 years and done a lot behind the scenes regarding the History of the club. He set up the Stadium Tours and ran meetings every now and then with a few Rangers fans to try and deal with certain things. Such was the lake of communication that fans got from the club over the past few years. I attended one of those meetings when he was working on getting the St Judes Plaque in Queen's Park done. Others in attendance when i went were the likes of Martin Percival, Steve Russell, Vic Stevenson, Tony Incenzo, Gordon Macey, Martin Botright, Ron Hill, Roy Clarke and Pat and Tom Harrison. Steve Russell told me he attended the funerals of past Rangers Legends such as Mike Keen, Jim Langley, Tony Ingham and he also went to Alan Mcdonalds in Belfast but had to pay out of his own pocket which i thought was terrible. Surely the club should have done this as he was representing them. I remember Dave also arranging Neil Roberts appearance on the pitch during the Coventry game a month before he died. He ran the Cancer Research run with Joe Hylton for the past 2 years in Neil's Honour. Best wishes and Good Luck to Dave. Another True Ranger at the club that has left!

I remember Dave was the manager of the QPR 'Away' side that I played in at Football Aid in 2008. I found him to be a thoroughly top drawer bloke who treated us and made us feel like pro footballers for the day. A real shame to hear he has departed the club. You can't buy fans like that.

Maybe Dave was getting too close for some regarding the shenanigans that goes on behind the scenes at the club. Especially including Andy Evans and that Martino bloke acting holier than thou. Andy Evans sold his soul ages ago and I often wonder how Daphne Biggs. who he loved, would feel.
Also if beard wants to know where the ticket touts get there tickets he needs only to walk 100yds from his office and visit the clubs community department.
