Bosingwa? Interesting.
Assume Townsend is young enough not to need a squad place?

Assume Townsend is young enough not to need a squad place? Correct, he is under 21 and so does not take up a place on our squad.

Bothroyd, Campbell, Bosingwa all lucky to make the 25, down to lack of options I suppose

Can't get my head round Boswinga, unless they have sorted the problems seems like a waste of a squad place.

How early, before the window closed, did DJ's transfer break down? That could've meant us really pushing for Crouchie or O-de-winger if there was a place to fill in the squad.

That was Blackburn's own incompetence, and they missed out on another player as they failed to get the paperwork in time.

With DJ being in the 25, can we loan him out still?
I assume we can, and can be called back from his loan if we need him.

DJ getting a spot is no surprise to me.Once the Crouch and Odemwingie deals broke down someone stuck a screwdriver in the guts of the fax machine. And fair play to them..

And a year ago..
QPR boss Mark Hughes insists Jay Bothroyd and DJ Campbell are still part of his plansHughes has seven players who are capable of leading QPR's line for the remainder of the season after submitting his 25-man squad on Thursday. Cisse netted on his debut in the 2-2 draw against Aston Villa on Wednesday, while Zamora has yet to make his first appearance following his deadline-day move from Fulham. But with his wealth of options, Hughes is adamant the strikers who were brought to the club by former boss Neil Warnock still have a part to play this term. "They will be involved in the 25-man squad and I will use each and every one of them," Hughes told reporters. I don't see [the point in] putting people in the squad, even if their opportunities aren't readily available as they would like, and offering them up for loan deals. That doesn't make sense to me.' Hughes also revealed that the players who had not made the 25-man squad would be loaned out for the remainder of the season. Many who missed the cut were part of last season's Championship-winning side, including Hogan Ephraim, Peter Ramage, Patrick Agyemang and Bruno Perone. "We've got a big squad and a lot of players haven't been involved at first-team level," he said. "It's been difficult given the fact that I've only just come in in January. Ideally I would've liked to be in a position where I could assess everyone over six or seven weeks, like in pre-season "I haven't had that luxury so I've had to make decisions. "We'll look at loaning out the guys who are not in the 25. The 25-man squad is what will sustain us until the end of the season." www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/prem....nd- dj-campbell Read more: qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=29473&page=1#233543#ixzz2JjG7LpsLTHE QPR 25 - February 2, 2012 (And a year later how many gone)
