BOSS DELIGHTED WITH CUP VICTORY
RANGERS had a tremendous 1-0 win against Norwich in the Southern Junior Floodlit Cup Third Round Replay at Carrow Road.
The R's will now be at home to Crystal Palace or Southend in the Semi-Final.
Boss Warren Neill says:"I'm very pleased for the boys. It was a good night for us at Norwich. We played some terrific stuff on what was a dreadful evening weather-wise. But the pitch was very good and it helped us to produce some good football.
"We rode our luck at times as Norwich had a couple of breakaways. Our keeper Sean O'Connor did very well. But overall - over the two games - I think we were the better side.
"We won the replay with a great strike by Richard Spiller. It really was a fine goal that deserved to win any game. He hit it left footed from about 25 yards and the ball flew in like a rocket into the top right hand corner. And it was good to hear a cheer going up from our loyal travelling fans.
"Hopefully we can stage the semi-final at the main ground, as I think the lads deserve it. It's a game we're all looking forward to.
"The lads have worked hard, they've given me everything they've got and if they continue to do that they'll get their rewards," he says.

TREVOR REVELS IN ROLE
TREVOR SINCLAIR is enjoying his role in the new counter-attacking tactics being deployed by Rangers.
Trevor says:"We get a lot of people behind the ball. We've got the four in the midfield and the four at the back and we keep the solid eight there. So we just ask the opposition to break us down, and I don't think there are many sides who will be able to do that in free play when we've got all eight behind the ball. Then once we've got behind it and made the opposition make a mistake, we try to break at them very quickly.
"On a personal note, I think I'm playing more for the team now. I feel strong and I feel fit so that's the main thing for me."
