Me - obviously

Season 46

FL block East Paddock, back row, stand up all game!

Sorry to hear about Tom007 hope it gets sorted soon; I know it's nothing in the context of family hardship, but it's really hard to miss QPR if it's part of your life. Can't imagine it - good luck Tom

Yeah best of luck - sure something will come up :-*

First game i've taken the girlfriend to tomorrow - worst case scenario, she thinks i'm mental, best case scenario I convert her to the R's (read that sentence back and laughed - I am really immature).

I will be there and finally after all these years as a season ticket holder. I promised myself as a kid in 1969 that one day I would get a season ticket, but jobs, family and location got in the way for 40 plus years! My knees are not looking forward to South Africa Road but the rest of me is very excited!

I always used to love the first game as a youngster looking to see what changes had been made to the ground, I remember the three stands going up to complement the SAF stand but of all the daft things the best thing was when the new floodlights on a single pole replaced the old four leg pylon lights. They seemed so modern and 'continental' at the time. I know the stadium looks pretty dated now but at the time I was very proud of how modern it looked.

I have seen more good opening matches than bad but was a bit shell shocked after the Bolton match last season, but with all the new personnel it will be disappointing if we do not get a positive start tomorrow - cannot wait!

Upper Loft for me as well.

I've been at many a good opening day game as well as some horrendous ones. Everton in '76 was worse in it's own way than Bolton last year but Burnley away under Gary Waddock must be my worst.

Left that game with no hope at all!

Best of luck Tom with the job hunt & hope you can get to the Bush quite soon.

I think the worst 1st game i have seen was Seamans debut, 1986 lost 5-0 at Southampton and Colin Clarke scored a bloody hat trick .
