Looks like someone pretending to be maude to me, Fraser.

I'd be surprised if those posts were from the real maude, but you never know.

I'm not quite sure what to tell you. All I can say is that there was no "Imposter" posting as Maudes.

That as we can all see, Maudes clearly is now listed as a Guest.

That this is entirely his decision which as much surprised me as anyone (and came with no pre-discussion) That This is definitely NOT a case of "by mutual consent" or "a difference of views"

And that I don't have any other details

And that anytime - be it five minutes from now - or five years from now, Maudes want to resume posting (and moderating), he just has to sign up again.

I would doubt there's a poster on this board who has never made posts which were perhaps a little harsh, or said something subsequently would have put it differently. Certainly I have made quite a few such posts here (and of course elsewhere)

In fact, you almost made me quit at one time Mac, when bringing politics (Israel/Palestine) to the board. Politics and football sometimes mix, like yesterday between Greece and Germany, but on a site like this we should probably stay away from such issues.

That said, what happened Maud? Please come back!

Yes he is a great guy and we miss him and want him back , over the years ive had great banter with Maude and will be very sad if he doesnt return
We have to remember in life circumstances change for us all and im sure Maude has very valid reasons for not being on here .
I can assure you nobody on here has upset him , maybe he just fancies a break from posting , as we know hes very passionate about QPR and whilst i dont always agree with his posts ,i always admire the way he says it straight !
Its been a terible day with the Loss of big Macca , hope Maudes decides to come back!
