that bald bloke from the film hills have eyes summed it up for me.

he says if a midfielder completes 97% of passes he is a success, if a striker gets 97% of shots on target he is considered good, but if a ref gets 97% of decisions correct he is a failure.

whats this got to do with this thread you say?

Anyone think its strange he has only signed a 2yr deal?

Presumably he has a chunky signing on fee, and is only young for a keeper, i.e 32, so i would of expected a longer term deal?

Not sure what to think, but 2yrs seems a bit 'part-time' i.e, not sure about it/only come for the money and will do the same in 2yrs time???

I get the feeling that 2 years might be the policy on transfers and i0t may be a good idea as a lot can happen in that time and we don't want to get stuck with players that might not gel for some reason.

That said, it might put some talent off.
