Never really cared for this individual ( that goes for most on here) but, seeing as we have had a succsesful end to this seasons campain, i would very much like the extended hand of the aministrator give him another chance and unban him.
he provides lots of talking points and is a tad contrversial (unlike myself  ) and he provides another angle of thought towards all things qpr.
not sure how to create a poll but leave a yes or no in the comments section of this thread.
LETS GIVE THIS QPR MAN ANOTHER CHANCE.

But unfortunately....
We have a very open approach on this board accepting all applicants whatever their previous posting record (And even regardless of what they may have said about this board or about individual moderators, elsewhere)
But at the same time, we are serious about how people are to post on this board. We bend over backwards not to ban. And we certainly don't ban because someone may have a different view about something re QPR or football. (Just as we don't close threads when the argument may be going in a direction contrary to the one we favour)
And while other board may be interested in power games - or having points and suspensions - and permitting banned posters to return time and time again under new names. This board does not.
A few have come on this board with only one intention: That is to stir, and provoke and insult - and even...shock/horror: To lie.
Others are, for whatever reason, unable to control themselves in their postings. They know what they're doing is contrary to this board. And yet they persist. And on those occasions, with reluctance and after discussion, moderators decide that there are so many boards out there: Perhaps they would be more suited elsewhere.

Addendum: I see that Hitman has now instituted a Poll. Everyone is of course free to vote. But I have to tell you, in all honesty that regardless of the size or majority of teh vote, decisions to ban or not ban (or hypothetically to unban) are going to be made in accordance to how we moderators perceive/interpret posters are keeping to the paramaters and rules of this board.
Banning decisions have never been made lightly. And they were always made for what we see as just cause. Be you a believer in Karma or an aficionado of Dentists.

When I post on a QPR board in a reasonable way about QPR I don't expect to receive abuse from someone purely because of my age.

remember macmoish, the messageboard is nothing without the people commenting on it. all i ask is that you let the majority of people decide either way.
if you could take your admin hat off for a moment and sever your afiliatons with other mods, would you be inclined to support the posters deciding or would you stick to your views of a rigid rule book?
IF rory withdrew his complaint would you unban mr hunt?

All bans given out are lifetime bans, no exceptions.
No bans are given out lightly and each time that poster has abused their last chance, hence the last resort of having to use a ban.
No bans will ever be lifted.
But please do feel free to discuss this and post elsewhere if you find this unacceptable to you.

i dont care for most posters on here but i do care to have ones voice to be heard and be counted. even YOURS. just like the supporters club who want to have more input on the club i wish for the posters here to have more imput on this site.
the reasons why i personally wish to give mr chunt another chance are stated on the first post of this thread. but to have ones voice heard and listened too on this site is the crux of this thread.
even if it was you,rory or doughman or anyone else for that matter, i would be asking the same.

This board is what it is. An ever-number of people seem to like it for what it is. And for what it is not. What it focuses on. What it does not. How people post. And how they do not. But regardless of the numbers of posters or viewers, the "Standards" of this board are going to be adhered to.
Those who don't like the ways of this board will never be held back: They are always afforded the opportunity to go boards more to their suiting. Given the sizable number of QPR Boards out there, there is surely a board suited to every taste. And even to set up your own messageboard.
As for moderators: On Board issues: We consult together. We decide together. And then we take responsibility together.

I imagine most people will vote to say give him another chance, but I bet if they were the recipient of his daily abuse as one poster unfairly was, they would vote not to.
It is a last resort as we do try not to ban people and discussing it is fine as well but to try and say that free speech is not encouraged on here is plainly disingenuous of you.
But nonetheless, you are still perfectly entitled to your views.

Seriously...what the HELL is this thread all about?? Hitman, are you Mike Hunts best buddy or something? Quite frankly, the man was a poisonous toad who did nothing besides complain about QPR and post vulgar GIF files, which I actually found rather offensive on occasion.
I'm far from a prude, but I don't expect to come onto a Rangers messageboard and see a picture of some skateboarder losing his face after an accident over and over again, to name but one example. And he wouldn't stop, thought it was all hilarious.
As with Rory, he also has personal vendettas, and dishes out crude insults mainly comprised of extreme foul language and very little intelligent content. These are not the attributes generally associated with members attempting to discuss their opinions in a (generally) civilised way.
Many of us fall out because we disagree strongly with eachother, but this doesn't result in over the top personal attacks using all names under the sun.
He's a stain, and the board is far better off without him. The administrators made the best decision by banning him, and I certainly don't see what justification there is for allowing him to return based merely on the fact that we stayed up this season?
Finally, I don't ever recall him starting a decent discussion, only deteriorating existing threads. Perhaps I missed something there, but either way...a flat out NO.

I think Hitman's intentions are best described as passive aggressive.
There are more worthy campaigns to put your energy into, either related to QPR or otherwise. If you put this amount of vehemence into helping the OSC you'd soon be a legend.

Anyway i had no probs with mike but other's did so i say no in support of them.
Plus i support the mods and mike as this is a well run board and there arn't too many around as well run......there you go you got another bite.
