I agree gramps, bleedin' awful! Call me old fashioned but I like London Calling and even didn't mind it when they used to play 'Simply the Best' before kick off in the 80s and 90s. Music at football like football songs should be simple in rhythm and melody.
Not a big fan but only because I don't like the singer.
I heard a lot of noise, Rory, but by no stretch of the imagination would I call it singing. As a semi-pro singer myself I guess I am a bit biased though.

yeah it's alright...very very cheesey... definitely something you wouldn't want to play at the game, that's for sure. You'd scare half the Rs fans out of the ground >_< thats the only thing "dangerous" about it really...haha

OK I'm going to flex on this one for a sec.
As a music producer whose albums have all charted in the top 40 including the highest new entry for one of them I feel I can look at this piece of music and offer a professional objective.
It is a pile of shite.
Awful singer singing purile rubbish.
Terrible arrangement and a crude basic chord structure that doesn't work to lift the song along at all, it just plods along, badly.
Amateur recording and mix.
Has no connection to QPR in any shape or form whatsover in terms of feel.
In short, if I crapped this out of my arse, I'd replace the toilet I used to flush it away, just to extinguish the memory of it completely.
Tony Fernandes: “Many people do not realise the power of sport to market a brand” “You can spend £40 million on advertising and have nothing like the same effect." “It can’t be about one benefactor. I might be hit by a bus".

Beautiful, simply beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes, but then again a blue flag up yer arse tends to do that.

I prefer a rock music tune to any other kind, but the song itself, just isn't memorable, well arranged or catchy enough to be able to lodge itself in your brain. The singer doesn't do himself any favours with a delivery that is somewhere between Johnny Rotten and Tommy Steele. The song that would be good to 'copy' IMHO would be 'We're Gonna Win' by Bryan Adams. Driving, catchy rock and roll, but simple enough to remember. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8Eb73MRkRU

It's shoite but I'm glad they are making the effort.
There are lots of R's in the music industry, it wouldn't be difficult to get something good knocked up. A special of London's Calling would be the obvious choice.

I disagree. I don't think it would be possible to write a song that would be universally liked by all fans, mainly down to the massive differing tastes of all QPR supporters.
Couple to that the song can't be cheesy (valid musical term ) in any way and the job of writing lyrics becomes a nigh on impossible task simply due to the subject matter.
A club and it's fans should adopt a song, make it their own and give it their own meaning. And it should happen naturally.
I applaud Tony F for his effort, blessed are the music makers, all of them.
Tony's song was not actually the worst song I heard to day in fact. I heard the new Roll Deep song and in their management's own words 'That's only getting released in Japan. If we release it over here, it would kill their careers in this country!' Seriously that dire, lyrically and beats wise.

For those not au fait with Roll Deep. They are a London-based grime music collective innit.
