Berbatov only thinks of himself , he had something to prove a Tottenham and got a dream move to Man U. So I think he would be best to go to Europe . I for one would rather we looked elsewhere .

Gold aims to agree Green deal Hammers hope promotion will help to persuade keeper to stay Last Updated: May 21, 2012 3:40pm
Robert Green: West Ham United are hoping to agree a new contract to hang on to the goalkeeper
West Ham United co-owner David Gold is hoping the club can finalise a new contract to keep goalkeeper Robert Green at Upton Park.
Green is out of contract in the summer and the Hammers have been negotiating for several months in an effort to persuade the 32-year-old to stay.
Spanish side Malaga, who have qualified for next season's UEFA Champions League, have been linked with a bid to sign Green on a free transfer.
However, after Saturday's play-off win over Blackpool secured an immediate return to the Premier League for the club, Gold is optimistic of retaining Green.
"The offer we could have made to Rob would obviously not have met his requirements if we had still been in the Championship," said Gold.
"But now there will be one on the table which should be acceptable and hopefully we will wrap that up in the next five weeks."
Green has made over 240 appearances for West Ham since joining from Norwich City in 2006 and has been included in England's squad for Euro 2012.

I think Berbatov would go to Villa if Solskjaer goes there.
I also understand Stoke are interested in Jarvis.
Not sure about all this Hooper love. Cissé and Zamora is a good combination and neither are going anywhere.
I think Cissé will calm down now and if he stays healthy and on the pitch he could be a 20 goal striker next season. Hooper wouldn't oust either of those two so why would he come here?
We can forget Green now, he has no need to leave West Ham anymore. No way are Wigan going to sell Al-Habsi. I really like Hennesey at Wolves. Even with his injury I just have a feeling about him that he's the one for us.

Zamora is the target man and keeps the defenders distracted, Cisse is the finisher of the highest quality once Zamora can get the ball to him. I think when they get to play side by side in a QPR team, they could really do some great work.

Zamora's best games were when Cisse was playing, when Djibril was suspended Zamora was pretty crap.
What I worry about is the age of them though, the youngest striker that actually gets into the squad is DJ who is 29.

On his day, Nemanja Vidic is the best "Defender" in the world IMO.
Vidic & Kompany would be some pairing, sometimes feel sorry for Vidic having to play alongside Ferdinand.

Now you're cooking
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footbal....their-list.html
If Green leaves then West Ham, who secured an immediate return to the Premier League with Saturday’s play-off victory over Blackpool, are likely to move for either Blackburn Rovers’ Paul Robinson or Bolton’s Jussi Jaaskelainen, who have both previously worked with manager Sam Allardyce. Sunderland are also believed to be interested in Green, who is expected to leave Upton Park but will hold fresh talks with the club over a new deal. QPR manager Mark Hughes has identified Given as one of his key targets this summer with the likelihood being that Paddy Kenny, his current first-choice goalkeeper, will leave to be reunited at Leeds United with former manager Neil Warnock. The bond between Hughes and Given is also strong with the manager having signed the 36-year-old Republic of Ireland international for Manchester City from Newcastle United in early 2009. Given was one of several City players angered by Hughes’ sacking later that year. QPR, having narrowly avoided relegation this month, are to undergo a huge rebuilding of the first-team squad this summer. Captain Joey Barton, who faces a lengthy ban for his behaviour in the final Premier League match of the season when he was sent off against City, is likely to be asked to leave the club.
Given signed a five-year contract at Villa, for a fee of £3.5 million, only last summer but with the club uncertain as to who will be the manager next season after a hugely disappointing campaign and with doubts over the ambitions of owner Randy Lerner, QPR are considering making an offer. Villa are understood to have a four-strong short-list to succeed Alex McLeish, who was sacked after the club only narrowly avoided relegation. It is headed by Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, the coach of Norwegian club Molde, Norwich City’s Paul Lambert, Wigan Athletic’s Roberto Martinez and Villa reserve team coach Kevin MacDonald, who was interviewed last week. However, there are deep concerns over the scale of investment planned this summer by Lerner while QPR are pushing ahead with a transfer policy to try to establish themselves in the Premier League and are promising Hughes the funds to compete. A permanent deal for on-loan midfielder Samba Diakaé is being discussed with new deals having been agreed with Kieron Dyer, who has agreed a one-year extension, Jamie Mackie, Clint Hill, Akos Buzsaky and reserve goalkeeper Radek Cerny. QPR have also released eight out-of-contract players: Patrick Agyemang, Gary Borrowdale, Lee Cook, Danny Gabbidon, Fitz Hall, Peter Ramage, Danny shitetu and Rowan Vine. West Ham are also drawing up their plans for the Premier League and would be interested in re-signing former midfielder Joe Cole — but only if Liverpool hugely subsidise his wages, of at least £90,000 a week, as they have done at Lille. Cole is also attracting interest from big-spending Paris St-Germain.

By Alan Nixon Comments 21 May 2012 22:14 Sparky targets Moses: QPR set to make £5m swoop for Latics star
Hughes will try to push through a quick deal while Roberto Martinez is in limbo at Wigan
On the move? Victor Moses could leave Wigan this summer QPR boss Mark Hughes will make a £5 million bid for Wigan's exciting star Victor Moses - and try to push through a quick deal while Roberto Martinez is in limbo.
Hughes wants the Nigerian international attacker and now he is going in with a formal offer for the lively Latics ace.
Rangers know that Moses could be sold by chairman Dave Whelan because he is entering the last year of his deal and they think that a good price will get their target.
And adding to the urgency QPR have been tipped off that Wigan boss Martinez would take Moses with him if he gets a bigger job in the next few weeks.
Martinez has gone on holiday after meeting Liverpool about their vacancy - and he may not know that outcome for two or even three weeks.
In limbo: Roberto Martinez's situation means Moses may jump ship for QPR Laurence Griffiths So Rangers want to take advantage of the uncertainty and agree a fee with Whelan for the Wigan star and then go to work about persuading him to join them as soon as possible.
Wigan could keep Moses for the last year of his deal and take a risk of a decent fee at a tribunal next summer.
But Whelan has a track record of selling for the best price rather than taking that chance.
Rangers could also give the former Crystal Palace starlet a fortune in wages and a guaranteed move rather than a wait for Martinez to sort out his future.

Hughes to make Villa an offer for Given
21/05/2012 by David McIntyre
QPR are planning to make Aston Villa an offer for goalkeeper Shay Given.
The Republic of Ireland stalwart, 36, played under R’s boss Mark Hughes at Manchester City.
Given has four years of his Villa contract left to run but Rangers believe they may be able to take him to Loftus Road this summer.
He is one of a number of keepers they have identified as a possible signing. Last season the club also made enquiries about Birmingham’s England Under-21 international Jack Butland.
The writing is on the wall for Paddy Kenny, who is entering the final year of his QPR contract and has not been approached about a new deal since Hughes took over as manager.

Shay Given is still one of the top keepers in the Prem. Friedel is 41 and still going strong so take no notice of his age. Would be very impressed in Hughes if he can persuade him to come here.
