He was interviewed at Reigate police station before being charged and bailed. During his career he played at various clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, Milan and Queens Park Rangers. He was awarded an MBE in 1993 for services to football. Wilkins is due to appear at North Surrey Magistrates' Court on May 21.

Stupid thing to do, but Butch doesn't seem to be a happy fella nowadays.I was shocked when i heard about the commentary stuff,and now this.Get back into the game Ray,and drop the booze.

The Sky TV football pundit and former Chelsea coach was in his Jaguar XP near his home in Cobham, Surrey, when he was stopped on May 7. North Surrey Magistrates' Court heard this morning (Monday) that the 55-year-old allegedly had 102 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped. The legal limit is 35. Mr Wilkins, who was made an MBE for services to football in 1993, won 84 caps for England and played at clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, A.C. Milan and Queens Park Rangers during a career that spanned three decades. He will stand trial on August 20.

Don't understand how he can plead not guilty and I am disappointed that Ray has been such a knob.
I am guessing the not guilty plea is because he has engaged one of these loophole lawyers who will try and get him off on a technicality.
In my experience, most lawyers are total "loopholes" themselves
