Zamora is good when he has another striker playing off him. He has no pace and doesn't get in behind defences so never really seems to do much, but plays a tough role as a lone striker. Taarbs was fantastic and as he said in a post match interview he is "more passionate than he has ever been about football", this can only bode well for us keeping him. He has an affiliation with the fans like no other player, we forgive him everything he messes up because we know what he is capable of when he gets it right. We are the only club/fans where he can truly be himself on and off the pitch. He will stay with us for a long while to come and after the way he has finished this season, don't be suprised to see him absolutely tear it up next season........if we stay up of course :) !

I agree harbo - I watched Taarbs off the ball a lot on Sunday and he is competely at ease with the other players, both accepting and giving out praise where due. I noticed the crowd being more patient with him too. His skill on the ball is one thing, but even more impressive is his ability to read the game and play the ball forward into space. He can see openings before they actually exist. Sometimes it doesnt quite work purely because other members of the forward line don't always read a situation as quickly as he does. He plays 100% the QPR way. We've always been a club that a lot of neutrals like, and I think it's because over the years we've had an association with players like Marsh and Bowles, who just love the game. Taarbs gets my vote for player of the year - and in a funny sort of way I actually admire him for getting the bus home at half time against the tourists. I dont think he was being disrespectful to the shirt, it was just his unique way of doing things.
