Totally agree Rory........I for one Wouldn't want Olly back!! He did his bit & has moved on & I think we should as far as ex managers are concerned!!..........I think we should keep Hughes as we need to have something stable in the club even if we go down!!!............can't keep changing managers all the time!!

Olly wouldn't be a step backwards, it'd be a giant leap.

Hughes won't be sacked and Hughes won't leave. If he was leaving we wouldn't have hired Riggs as part of his backroom staff would we?? He is planning to stick around.

To be fair to Hughes, let us not forget that he was expected to perform miracles with a disjointed squad with very little time to mould the team and style of play that he wants. He has to stay.

I think Hughes can do the job for us. What the players do on the pitch is not necessarily his instructions. What I would like to see from Hughes is him giving certain mercenaries a public bollocking. And I don't mean SWP, he was not at fault against the scum.

In the QPR Managerial Hall of Fame, there's a place for Ian Holloway. And a place for Neil Warnock.
It's far from clear, whether there will be a place reserved for Mark Hughes.
I'd stick with Hughes for all of next season (short maybe of if a relegation fight)
And if Hughes was to go, I'd very much doubt I'd appoint Holloway. Although no question that's where my heart is!
But Holloway and Warnock have gone. And won't be coming back. And the only way I'd want either back, would be in the (hopefully) unimaginable situation of being in Champion Relegation trouble - or even worse, back in League One

I am just wondering why would Olly want to join us if he gains promotion again with Blackpool. He will be waving to us on our way down......not finding his way back to W12

I like Holloway bit Agger that shop bae passed.
TF didn't just bring Hughes in for half a season. He bought him here because he wanted him to help build the club up and make us a more professional and self sufficient outfit. I can see Hughes doing well for us, but there will always be some fans who will never accept him no matter what he does. Which is their right to do so.

I don't think I fully agree. Hughes may not be LOVED quite like Holloway was.. Certainly his persona seems to be more distant. But everyone has different styles. And ultimately most fans are smart enough to judge a manager on on the field accomplishments/style of player/ players bought and developed, etc. Not his spiel etc .
But if he actually accomplished something at QPR (Keeping us up; taking us back up; halfway up the Prem Table. I think he'd be more than accepted - Think Jim Smith)...
But for the money he cost, and players he bought...He has to accomplish...And I THINK he will.

It might not be happening for the club on the pitch but they are quietly improving a lot of things off it.

Olly. He would be an even worse signing that Hughes. Olly will never get in the side over Faurlin, Diakite, Derry and Akos. and Hughes has been here since January and hasn't gotten off the bench once.
