Good. I don't want us to buy success

Same here, unfortunately that is what we have tried to do.

not having cisse whatsoever. hes been an expensive liability.
nor zamora. even though hes played well, hes a striker and to be considered a good signing he should of scored a goal or two that got us some points. (ie west brom away)

Anyway Hughes is lucky that he's not managing in the same era that Sousa operated under (and some others!)

Mike we have plenty of other strikers at the club whom are not even up to League 1 level dragging in big wages.

Depends on your perspective. 4 goals in 6 games is a pretty good tally and we won a few big games while he was suspended so the red cards don't seem to have been a liability in that regards.

As for Zamora, he has done the job he was given to do- and he's done it well. What more can you ask of him?

Didnt agree with Hughes tactics today but we have to look at the players too. NO FIGHT! >:(
The players have to have a real hard look at themselfes after today and give everything they have for last 2 games! :-*

Taiwo was awful today and Buzz was shocking aswell. Hill,Ferdinand and Barton were all screaming at taiwo for a good part of the game so he must have been doing something wrong.....

cisses indiscipline was unforgivable and let us down, so no im not having him as a good signing.
and is aid zamoras played the 'hold the ball up' game well, but he hasnt got an important goal that could of got us some points, so not really having him a success thus far either.
we are going down, so i dont think its to unfair to say they havent done enough.

Its near on impossible for Zamora up there on his own,,,, did you watch the game today, did you watch the spurs game.. what bloody chance has he got. Zamora is a good player, he is just not being used in the correct manner

didnt expect him to score today, but a goal at west brom out of one of the chances he had and that was three points and i would of said good signing and hes been a success.

Two commentators after match on the TV we get, said Hughes, couldnt expect anything with Cisse
playing left and Zamora at striker. i.e. we needed them both together up front to get anything.

Agree totally, should have played 4-4-2 and gone at them. Of course giving up a goal in the first minute devastated us.

Either way, I still have faith in Hughes, we'll get the 3 points vs stoke. That may be enough, if not I'll enjoy the away at city with a drink to celebrate either fate we end up with knowing that we have a bright future ahead.
