Thread title is far more interesting than the reality, sorry.
Am going to Chelsea on Sunday - was going with my dad but he can unfortunately no longer make it, so I'm going with a mate instead. My dad's ticket was for a pensioner (cos he is one). Normally this isn't a problem but they can be pretty arsey about tickets at some grounds, so would anyone pre-match be willing to swap the ticket for a regular one for the turnstiles, and swap back in the ground? Wouldn't mean changing seat or whatever, simply swapping tickets to go through the turnstiles.
So if you reckon you can pass for a young pensioner and don't mind, there's a pint/equivalent in it for you!

If I was you I'd chance it, it's automatic turnstiles, and you can make up some sort of mistake excuse if caught.

Internet's dead at home so not had the chance to check - cheers for the reply. Yeah will chance it or just ask someone at the ground if there's any issue.

Sorry missed this before. I agree with JDM, just go through and in the unlikely event anyone pulls you up tell them you're with a group and they went in already. I've given Lil'Zed's junior tickets to mates loads of times and never had a problem home or away.

Did you get away with it? Seemed quite hot, I had my ticket looked at 3 times on the way in there, and a search!
