 Taarabt today
« Thread Started on Apr 21, 2012, 6:43pm »

Great freekick from Adel today, he had a great game.

The red card is actually a good thing believe it or not. I am positive it is a one match ban so he misses the Chelsea game. We all know Taarabt doesn't play too well away from home and Hughes would surely have played him anyway. Now we can start Cisse with Zamora with him.

Also nice to see how well he gets on with Samba Diakite, when he was subbed off they had a huge hug haha. Hope Samba's injury is minor and he is fit for Sunday.

Yeh praying diakite is ok...tarbs sending off was a joke today, the ref wouldnt have booked him if he'd remembered he was already on a yellow, which obviously he didn't! Still, I like your thinking rory. I just hope we do a job against stoke whatever the result against the scum...we messed up our other "easy" game against wba...typical qpr we'll probably beat chelski and man city but lose to stoke now! :)

Part of me is praying that's the case.

The good thing though is that the Stoke game is at home and LR's become a bit of a fortress lately.

Clattenburg messed up. He clearly forget adel was on a yellow, and brought out the second yellow with a bit of arrogance. Then realized when he went to the book that he had no choice. Amateur officiating in my opinion. Nice to see for once that we didn't get completely done in by this one.

Great result today is it me or do we look so much better in defence since Clint Hill has been back in the team. Spurs still have Blackburn and Bolton to play so lets hope they do us a favor thought midfield were excellent again.

Good shout that... sort of proves that whatever players or money's avaialable you have to be careful to retain a continuity and "heart beat" in the team. Seemed a perfect blend today with stalwarts like Clint, Jamie, Buz, Adel and Shaun on the pitch alongside the new boys.

Joke joke joke sending off but hey we are getting used to it ! very harsh ...

I see we only need 1 more Red Card to equal Sunderlands worst ever record of Red Cards in a Prem season , with our luck i half expect us to equal it but with the spirit we are showing wouldnt bet it not affecting us .

I'm glad Tarbs is back on form, their were times this season when maybe some thought he had gone overboard after Fulham but i'm glad he's come back and shown what he can do and Hughes like Warnock last year is starting to get the best from him .
I think we all love the cheeky villian again now , if we can stay up and extend his contract , i shall be very happy indeed.

Thought so at the time and just had another look, their keeper should be stopping that.

The pace beat him though.

Look at the shot from the camera inside the goal itself. Taarabt hit that harder than it looked. Also, the keeper took one step extra to his left and just as he did that Adel struck the ball.

It was a beauty.

If we stay up I predict the kind of season for him next season that many people thought he would have this year. With a whole off season for Hughes to work with Adel I would really love to see what he can do next term in this league.

You're kidding me right?? The ref didn't remember he had already booked Taarabt, if he had remembered he wouldn't have boomed him the second time and got sent off.

Adel is finally performing in the Prem under Hughes and you want to sell him??

Deary me.....

At least one player kicks the ball away after the whistle as blown in every single game. Do you think players that shoot despite the fact they are offside and the whistle has gone have a 'BOLLOX ATTITUDE'??

His attitude has been poor under Warnock but he has grown up a lot since Hughes has taken over.

Am I missing something here? We've just beaten Spuds ad someone's having a pop at the guy who scored the winning goal and saying we should sell him?

I sometimes get the feeling that some people would have something to moan about even if we won the Premiership!

Enjoy today, gawd knows we haven't had many like it this season.
