Luiz Felipe Scolari is a shock contender to take over at QPR.

The Brazilian has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in February.

He could replace Paulo Sousa, who was sacked by QPR chairman Flavio Briatore..

Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson is QPR's number one choice to succeed Sousa, but the club believe it would be hard to persuade an English manager to work under Briatore..
