Why didn't the Liverpool goalkeeper get a red? He clattered the guy with a fully body check, was the last man in the way, yet Derry gets a red for what might have been a fingertip touch on an offside player. Referees DESERVE the abuse they get when they cannot be consistent.

I just read so many pages from that blackburn forum, not a happy bunch!! Did I watch a different game? they were ALL OVER liverpool I thought, liverpool scoring that late winner was totally shocking and so pleasing, but completly undeserved...the way those blackburn fans are speaking its like liverpool played em off the park...it was totally the opposite I thought?! I was sure blackburn would go on to win comfortably, and i am still worried by how good they look, i still fancy them to stay up :/

Lone I believe because Yakubu wasn't through on goal. The ball was going away from goal and and another Liverpool defender would have gotten to the ball first. Unlike the idiot against us. This ref took his time and although blew for the penalty straight away. Waited a few seconds to assess it all in his head before producing the card. Right decision in my opinion.

Hopefully this has knocked the stuffing out off Blackburn
They have just 5 games to go but at least 3 of them are winnable so we desperately need to gain 3 points on them tonight
With goal difference in our favour it would put us 4 points ahead of them

All subjective of course, but I would say that currently both the Bundesliga & La Liga are superior leagues to The Premiership.

Worst Premier League season in living memory IMO.

Germany is the model if you want a good progressive league with an actual real ethos & rules as opposed to the Global TV rights governed Premiership.

it is a very poor premiership standard wise (and the worst ever, ill agree), but excitement wise its blinding and the best in the world for me.

Woohoo, finally someone finally agrees with me that Bundesliga is better than the Prem!!

The league had already been won in the Prem whereas Dortmund and Bayern are still fighting it out for the title, with the big showdown tonight at 7:00pm

Oh, it is. Only the Bundesliga comes close. The Spanish Primera is nothing more than the SPL transplanted to a sunnier climate with sexier sounding names and Serie A is sterile and bent.

The PL has a level of quality all the way through the league that the Primera and Serie A just doesn't have. Rayo Vallecano v Almeria or Catania v Parma is like watching a League One game.

If you could take Barca and Real out of la liga then it would probably be simular standard to the premiership

Except now its the other way round ;) dont think its better than the prem though, and la liga is only interesting if you watch only 2 or 3 of the teams in it..the rest is a bore fest ;)

I must admit, Rory, I've never watched a Bundesliga match. Are they shown regularly here? On Sky? Will have to catch one before the season ends.

Not on Sky unfortunately, unless you have some kind of illegal decoder haha. On ESPN only which is a pain as I don't get that channel.

Bugger. Sky cost too much as it is, not really worth subscribing to ESPN as well.

Exactly my thoughts mate, £9.99 a month for one channel is a rip-off.

What annoys me is BT vision customers pay £9.99 ONCE for a lifetime of ESPN...how the **** is that fair on us sky customers who already pay so much for sky??
