A small glimmer of hope but we need to repeat that level of performance time and again until the end of the season. Little disappointed with the Wigan & Bolton results but we would have been adrift with Wolves had we lost as we were expected to do. Glad to see this team has definitely got some fight.
C'mon you RRRRRsssss!!!!!!

Oh, and who was it who said we were going to be on the receiving end of a hammering today? Hope he had a good time at the game.

TBH, even a draw up there will feel like a victory.

Wouldn't it be satisfying if we won at United and handed City the Premiership trophy??

Start this team next game and see if they can keep up such an excellent all round performance. Just seeing it, I thought Mackie did deserve a penalty and Barton's shot on the run deserved to be a goal too.

Exactly, some consistency is what we need, mackie was quality today as was adel...heck everyone out there played their part well. A rare game with no red cards or injuries , I think we'd give man u something to think about at least.

Just watched that save again on Van Persie. Holy macaroni, if that wasnt the best save Ive ever seen him make, a thundering shot and he goes into flight and flies it over bar. Can this be an omen? Then Hills linear long pass to Adel in great position to spin and leave both CDs looking and picks his favorite place, just inside the bar. Waiting a whole season for this. Are we waking up? too dangerous to think that.
