Bookies Victor Chandler have opened their book on the next QPR manager and they make Dennis Wise the tentative 5/1 favourite.
The firm readily admit that due the circumstances surrounding the club at the moment it has been very difficult to price up.
"QPR seems a pretty complex club at the moment, and it is difficult to see who'll want to take up the position," said VC spokesman Dave Jenkins.
"They have the financial clout to get a top name in, but that would mean another big ego in the mix, and that would be unlikely to work.
"It's a tremendous club, which should appeal to a large number of managers, but there seems to be too much going on behind the scenes. At this stage it really is a very difficult appointment to call."
Paul Ince is the second favourite at 7/1, with the current caretaker manager Gareth Ainsworth in at 10/1
