Edit several years 15 years ago (almost)(Nov 24, 2001): Brentford (with Martin Rowlands) Drew 0-0 with QPR at Brentford Digby - Forbes , Rose shitetu Warren - Bignot , Bonnot Palmer , Connolly - Gallen , Doudou (Thomson ). Other subs:: Evans, Bruce, Wardley, Pacquette. From Brentford Official Site Much hype before the game, but The Bees and Rangers played out a goalless draw in front of 10,849 spectators. The first half saw the tempo slowed down by Rangers, looking comfortable with shitetu and Kevin Gallen providing Ranges with much needed balance. Brentford's best chance of the half came on 24 minutes, Lloyd Owusu hit the woodwork after a free kick awarded for foul on Bees Captain by shitetu. HALF-TIME BRENTFORD 0 QUEENS PARK RANGERS 0 The second half saw The Bees came out stronger forcing the pace, and only dogged defending by shitetu and Palmer kept the Bees at bay. R's did not have a shot on target in the second 45 but The Bees lacked confidence to take the game to Rangers. In the 82nd minute, Paul Gibbs was booked for a foul on Marcus Bignot. The Bees left back was then a victim of a clumsy challenge with moments remaining from R's striker Andy Thomson, which forced him to be replaced by substitute Steve Sidwell. Seconds later Referee M Messias blew for full time. Truly awful ground!!! Remember it well as well! Got pushed back & shouted at by a steward when I was giving a load of verbal to one of the brentford players!!! Some ginger haired tosser of a player!!! Sure that was the game that the RRR'ss players couldn't use the showers after the match because it they were pouring out raw sewage!!! Kinda sums up Brentford FC & the area really!!!

i love the fact they hate us and couldnt muster one win out of 6 games against us, the first season we was in league 1 was the time we was there for the taking as we was at our lowest ever ebb, olly only had 7 players at the start of july and cobbled together a team of freebies and journeymen, and still the mighty bees couldnt turn us over, what a bunch of muppets.

And on a happier note:
Thirty-Six Years Ago, QPR Were Marching Through Europe! - November 24, 1976, QPR Marched on in Europe: In the EUFA Cup, first leg QPR 3 FC Cologne 0. Scorers, Givens, Webb & Bowles.
Full Team: Parkes Clement Webb McClintock Gillard, Hollins, Masson, Leach, Thomas, Bowles and Givens. QPR then lost the away leg in Cologne 1-4 and went through.
