Edit/Bump another year Rio Ferdinand turns 41 Mark Hateley turns 58 When we signed him, I thought that's an awful lot of money to play for an aging player. But We must think it worth it to get guaranteed goals for 2-3 years while Gallen, Dichio, etc, developed. I was half right! One of our most inspiring signings up there with Vinnie Jones and Ned Zelic.

Didnt we spend 25% of the Sir Les transfer fee on him? Id have rather 'had Leslies big toe on the pitch!

15 years of misery and watching complete dross down to some dire signings, also thought selling Clive Wilson was pivotal in our relegation that followed his departure

Two Birthdays for two players who very much didnt work out at QPR and were part of the reason we were relegated in both their brief times at QPR
