I was with you in thinking of Dick Guy but, of course, he was much to old (like me) to have played in the Premier.

I bet he still dines out on stories of his penalty save at Revie's Leeds in the FA Cup when Wimbledon were in the Southern League.

Ha! Yeah, his name came straight into my head but as you say, he was virtually a bleedin amateur at the time!

Ahhh, you said full international, you shoulda said friendly, a friendly I don't consider 'a full international', not when you can replace 6 guys at half time, or ten, as against australia. Friendlies are different from competitive matches. IMO. I mean who remembers England vs Malaysia in 1990 when Lineker scored 4 goals? That's a joke game. (fortunately you let us score two, how nice!)
