QPR want Darren Ferguson as manager By James Nursey 4/04/2009
QQR want Darren Ferguson this summer to replace doomed boss Paulo Sousa.
Rangers' Portuguese first team coach Sousa, 38, is set to be demoted after winning just seven matches since succeeding Iain Dowie in November.
And QPR's autocratic co-owner Flavio Briatore has identified Sir Alex Ferguson's son Darren,37, to replace Sousa.
Ferguson junior got Peterborough promoted to League One last term in his first full season in charge.
And QPR are poised to move for the ambitious Scot if promotion hopefuls Posh fail to reach the Championship.
Sousa's days are numbered at Loftus Road and it was Briatore's decision to send striker Dexter Blackstock on loan to Nottingham Forest.
Briatore is also lining up summer transfer targets like Dele Adebola, 33, a free agent at Bristol City.

Trying to think of even one or two syccessful managers whose fathers were successful managers (or sons).
Sons of Managers who became great (even good) managers :
Bill Dodgin Snr and Jnr.
Alan Ball Senior and Alan Ball Jnr (Ok Forget that one)
Brian Clough Junior - Ttoo early to tell

We may differ over Sousa. But of course it was Briatore who chose to appoint Sousa. And he - supposedly on advice of your other man Paladini appointed Dowie...
I presume if the facts come out that show the failures of Briatore and Paladini - that as a rational person, you will repudiate them
