Maybe Inman is one of the trialists who played for The Reserves vs Brighton yesterday? Sutton Guardian Hampton's Thompson and Inman on QPR radar 5:16pm Thursday 29th September 2011 * By Stuart Amos » Hampton & Richmond Borough striker Dan Thompson may be back at the Beveree, but boss Mark Harper has admitted it might not be for long. The 17-year-old returned to the Bevears line-up for Saturday’s 3-1 win over Weston-Super-Mare after a three-week spell on trial at Premier League Stoke City. Eight other clubs had representatives at Station Road to cast their eye over him only to see Thompson taken off just before half-time with a nasty head injury. But the scouts seemed to leave happy as defender Dean Inman secured a trial with QPR reserves this week, with his team-mate lined up to do the same when he gets over his concussion. City remain keen on Thompson, but Harper insisted others were still interested in him. And providing he can play for Hampton at weekend’s he’s more than happy to see him try out for other outfits higher up the pecking order. “Dan looks fitter and more accomplished in just three weeks at Stoke,” he said. “If that is how he comes back from every trial then I’m happy for him to do it as long as he can play for us at a weekend. “Until there is a firm deal that suits both parties, he is our player.” www.suttonguardian.co.uk/sport/football/9279749.Hampton_s_Thompson_and_Inman_on_QPR_radar/?ref=rss

But I had this last week! Fulham Chronicle QPR take Hampton youngster on trial again * By Tim Street * Oct 6 2011 QPR have this week cast another eye over promising Hampton & Richmond Borough youngster Dean Inman. The 20-year-old, who can play in the centre of midfield or defence, spent some of pre-season on trial at Loftus Road after impressing in Hampton's friendly with the Rs. His hopes were then scuppered by injury, but having returned to action with the Hampton first team, Inman has been invited back by Rangers to show what he can do again. A product of the Hampton youth system, Inman already has 70 first team appearances under his belt and was a virtual ever present for the Blue Square South side last season. A link between the two clubs is already growing, with Hampton having taken highly-rated QPR youth player Bradley Simmonds, whose brother, James, already plays at Beveree, on loan. QPR are also one of the clubs, with others believed to inclue Liverpool and Crystal Palace, keeping an eye on another promising Hampton youngster, Dan Thompson. The striker has recently returned from a three-week trial with Stoke City, but sustained a minor head injury in last week's win over Weston-super-Mare. Hampton boss Mark Harper added: “Deano is back at QPR this week, but we don't know what's happening with Dan yet as he had to come off with concussion in last week's game. “As it's unlikely they would go straight into the first teams if they move, their new clubs might think they're better off playing on loan with us than sitting in their reserves. “But we have got Bradley Simmonds on loan due to our link up with QPR, and we may get more players from them too.
