I would be very surprised if we ever see Dyer in the starting XI again.
He shouldn't be in the 25 imo, I would much rather have Hogan there.

This injury is turning into something more than a bruised foot then . played 4 mins out of four games so far . Hope he can shrug it off but must admit the omens are looking good. I Like Hogan too Camel , but maybe Neil decided on Dyer because hes a bit of a jack of all trades . Although if he permantly gets injured will soon turn into a master of none.

Hypothetical situation. Dyer is told next week that his playing days are over. Are we allowed to bring a replacement into the 25 immediately?

DYER makes my all time team of injured stars.... See how you can do:
Darren Anderton, Jon Woodgate, Ledley King, Kieron Dyer, Owen Hargreaves, Michael Owen that six, how many can you name?

He obviously has a very low threshold for pain. Waste of time IMO.

Well, those West Ham friends I have still laugh about us signing Dyer. They have some respect for Gabbidon, but not very much....but they like Ferdinand and constantly tells me we are playing their old CD:s... On the whole looking good, we have gone from being a farce to a club people somewhat grudingly are starting to respect. Small steps, but that is as it should be. Dyer...a gamble that didn't work, will be very surprised to see him back in the team again

We took a risk on Dyer which hasn't paid off. Was it ever confirmed that it was a pay-as-you-play deal???

I think it's Briatore: He put Warnock in the corner...till the last weeks before the season began. Just be grateful some of those aging Italians we were linked to in the summer. One after the other, didn't pan out. And just be grateful that Warnock stuck it out....

Meanwhile.... BBC Steven Connors wins Cambridge United axe appeal Connors joined the U's from Fleetwood in June and had left by July Steven Connors has won an appeal against his dismissal from Cambridge United in July. The Football Conference has ruled the U's did not have grounds to terminate the midfielder's contract, five weeks after he joined the club. Cambridge said they sacked the 25-year-old because he witheld knowledge of a pre-existing groing injury. In a statement the club said they were "stunned" and would appeal against the decision with the Football Association. "No further comment will be made until the appeal procedure has been completed," the statement added. Cambridge have seven days in which to lodge their appeal. Connors told the Cambridge News: "I just need to reflect on it, but I don't want to comment further." newsvote.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14945380.stm

The good news is all those players we know longer want or dont have a future at the Club are free to walk away in just 8 months time , thats a big burden off the Cluib and our Squad will look alot different come Sept 2012.
