From the National Football Museum CALLING ALL FOOTBALL FANS! The National Football Museum has launched its new holding website, and is asking for football fans to help countdown to the launch of the museum, due to open early next year. The website asks users to join in with the countdown by picking a number that personally connects them to football, and ‘doodling’ a design to accompany the fact. Facts already on the page include ‘1 player to ever score a hat-trick in a World Cup final’ and ‘25 Yellow cards shown to Holland in the 2010 World Cup’. Check out the holding website here www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/The best entries will appear on the full National Football Museum website when it launches later this year, and fans who submit their designs will be able to receive exclusive news on the museum and will be given the chance to win VIP passes to the museum opening. The website also asks visitors to ‘become part of the crowd’ by connecting to their Twitter and Facebook accounts. The National Football Museum is re-opening in Manchester in early 2012; providing a world-class home for the greatest collection of football memorabilia ever assembled. So, what are you waiting for? Kick in to action and get your scribble on! - ENDS -
