you can find it here: qpritalia.splinder.com/post/25458668/intervista-a-briatore-col-qpr-ho-mantenuto-le-promesse-fatte-ma-il-calcio-non-fa-per-meOk, i'll try to translate... Title: "With QPR I did what I promised, but football is not for me" "When we arrived, QPR was last in the standing and we promised to bring the Club in Premier League in three years. We did it. No regret, I did my job." About football: "We must always put a lot of money, often without a logical reason". About Managers: "They fall in love for a player and after two months they dump him". About players: "they are spoiled! A 'panchinaro' (italian term for the player always on bench) gains more than a company executive. And when a player gets fined, he doesn't pay. If a player misses, there is always an excuse. Everything is due to them. Private airplanes and all luxuries. It can't continue this way". The journalist says that even the drivers in Formula 1 earns a lot of money. Braitore says: "Only three drivers makes the difference. The others drivers earn what they deserve. And don't forget that behind them there's the work of 800 persons. They have a lot of responsability". I hope you understand! ;D

When he first took over, some of the things he said sounded very sensible; not pie in the sky....
Unfortunately....!

'Football Not For Me' - Briatore FLAVIO Briatore has stated that while football wasn't the game for him - he did the job he set out to do at Queens Park Rangers Speaking to Gazetta dello Sport the former co-owner stated he delivered on his primary promise of taking QPR back to the Premier League. He stated: 'With QPR I did what I promised, but football is not for me' 'When we arrived, QPR were bottom and we promised to bring the club up to the Premier League in three years. We did it. No regrets, I did my job.' He then went on to tell the news outlet an interest set of statements regarding football players and management at large, indicating as to why he didn't find a great fondness for the game. 'They (managers) fall in love for a player and after two months they dump him'. 'They (players) are spoiled! A 'panchinaro' (italian term for the player always on the bench) gains more than a company executive. And when a player gets fined, he doesn't pay. 'If a player misses, there is always an excuse. Everything is due to them. Private airplanes and all luxuries. It can't continue this way'. When questioned regarding the ethos of paying drivers in Formula One, Briatore stated: 'Only three drivers makes the difference. The others drivers earn what they deserve. And don't forget that behind them there's the work of 800 persons. They have a lot of responsability'. Briatore sold his stake along with Bernie Ecclestone on Thursday to Malaysian businessman Tony Fernandes, who has become the majority shareholder. With thanks as always to QPR Italia Anticipating the goodness of Vital to allow this transfer. Read more: www.qpr.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=251879#ixzz1VbSymDzz

Was all down to Warnock and the boys. We got promoted despite Briatorie, not because of him. Arsewipe.

As much as I hate to say it, even though I don't like the two clowns, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be where we are now. We can say what we like (and I'm part of this group) but the facts are we are premier league now, whereas with out them we would probably be fighting relegation in the championship, if we're lucky!!! I'm glad they've gone but they have given us a good grounding for where we are now, which is EPL where we can build from, so cheers!!
Come on u rrrrrrrr's!!!!!!!

fair fb point noely, but i"m with the opionion that its because of nw not f+b, the facts are if palace didnt go into adminisration then we wouldnt have nw, nothing to do with the orange man"s eye for a manager that"s for sure, just luck that palace were in sh*t street and we were looking once again for a manager.
