Football fans are given the chance to have their picture taken with The Npower Championship trophy Published: 18 August, 2011 by STEVE BARNETT FOOTBALL fans are being given the chance to have their picture taken with the biggest trophy won by a London club last season. WesT Euston Partnership It’s not just about football Aug22 To celebrate a year of West Euston Football School and Queens Park Rangers FC back in the Premier League, QPR brought the Championship Trophy to Cumberland Market on Friday, the last day of this Summer’s West Euston Football School. The Football School is co-ordinated by our own Tony Louki with professional coaches from QPR and it takes place on Cumberland Market and at Regent’s Park. My Grandson went to the Regents Park training last year, (not a freebee), as would be for the underpriviledged on the event above.
They gave out shirts to each of those taking part over the week and footballs to the best player of the day. !

Oh dear, those gooners and chelscum shirts touching our trophy. The kids need educating. Still, I guess we can hope that both teams will be fighting for that trophy in a year from now, however unlikely that may be.................. I guess we can dream. Relegation this year Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs? No, I don't think so either.
As a matter of interest, I was at a rehearsal last evening with my South Woodham Ferrers Male Voice Choir (plug!). One of the guys there is a Man U. supporter. He told me he has put a few bob on Arsenal getting relegated this year.

With the new board in place hopefully they'll be able to do even more.
