No. Not from the Official Site TOOTING OFFICIAL SITE QPR have now completely withdrawn from next weeks game. We are very grateful to Ryman South contenders Whitehawk, who have stepped in as replacements. www.tmufc.co.uk/Streatham Guardian "...Tooting were originally expected to play a Queens Park Rangers youth team on Thursday night but the Hoops moved the game to Tuesday and then cancelled it altogether because of a tour to Belgium. Tooting instead hastily arranged a game against Ryman Division One South side Whitehawk for tomorrow. “QPR might have attracted a bit more of a crowd but it would only have been a youth side we were playing against,” said Beard. "Whitehawk will be a much more competitive game...."

GALLEN READY FOR BELGIUM TESTPosted on: Thu 04 Aug 2011 Head of Youth Development Steve Gallen has taken his youngsters to Belgium this afternoon to compete in Yale Eurofoot 2011, an Under 19s tournament which includes some of Europe's top clubs. Tottenham, Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Copenhagen and Standard Liege are all involved in the competition, which sees two groups of six compete in a round-robin format with the top two sides from each group progressing to the semi-finals. In a series of 50-minute games (25 minutes each way), QPR will play Club Brugge on Friday morning before taking on Shakhtar Donetsk in the afternoon. On Saturday, the R's will complete their Group A fixtures with matches against Utrecht, Cercle Brugge and KV Mechelen . The semi-finals will take place on Sunday morning, with the final scheduled for Sunday evening. Before jetting off with his squad, Gallen told http://www.qpr.co.uk: "This is a very useful test for us. "Most of my squad qualify for Under 17 competitions, so we have a very young group but this will be great experience for them. "Our first league game is against Luton next Saturday (13th) at Harlington, and this is an ideal way for the boys to prepare." www.qpr.co.uk/page/YouthReports/0,,10373~2410256,00.html
