Little late. But Hampton preview Hampton Official Site QPR PREVIEW & PITCH WORKS Details Category: HRBFC First TeamPublished on Friday, 15 July 2011 14:00Written by StefHits: 368 The Beavers take their first steps under the stewardship of Mark Harper this weekend with Barclays Premiership side the visitors to Beveree. At this early stage of the season there will undoubtedly be a host of new faces eager to earn a spot in the squad for the coming season. However the spine of last year’s side will be in action as you can expect to see Dean Inman, Nathan Coliier, Dave Tarpey, Charlie Moone, Paul Johson and the returning James Simmonds in action. Matt Lovett will miss the game following an operation on his knee. Confirmed new signing’s Callum Stewart, Billy Jeffrys and Matt Ruby will be on show for the first time as well. Both teams will take to a splendid Beveree playing surface which has been expertly prepared over the summer by SJK. Scott and his team have worked exceptionally hard in getting the pitch ready and it is in the best condition that is has been for many years. Speaking ahead of the game Steve McPherson said ‘I’m aiming to have the best playing surface in the league this season. SJK are an important part of the team at the club and they are giving Mark and the team an excellent surface on which to play the exciting style of football that Harps has planned for them. I don’t think that you will find a more skilled group of individuals as Scott and his guys’ Tomorrow’s game kicks off at 3pm and admission prices are £11 Adults, £6 Concessions and £3 for school children. www.hamptonfc.net/index.php/8-hrbfc-first-team/81-qpr-preview

Obviously nothing as of yet on the Official Site From Dave McIntyre Tweets Cook and Rowlands did OK. Standard fare for a friendly really. Rowlands scored. Impressed with Max Ehmer, who played centre-back. for anyone interested it finished 2-1 to H&R Pellicori on. Up front with Clarke. Great to see them having a go againt superior opposition. German I think could do with a couple of years in the conference and balanta the championship 4 those asking team its elvis, harriman, ramage, ehmer, borrowdale, balanta, rowlands, doughty, cook, german and leon 'lineker' clarketwitter.com/#!/davidmcintyre76

i know its a friendly but that team should have murdered Hampton on paper. I have come to the stage where i probably wouldnt bat an eyelid now if 4-5 got sold , harsh but we need players off our books.

harlowranger you said we should of murdered them on paper, when bit harsh.when the first team only just beat harrow by a free kick. i would have thought they would do the murdering.

harlowranger you said we should of murdered them on paper, when bit harsh.when the first team only just beat harrow by a free kick. i would have thought they would do the murdering. If you think it should have been a close game then fair play Dan , but to me if some of these guys want to prove themselves then this is the type of game they need to shine in . Nearlly all of those players in our team could play in leagues Championship ,Div 1 , Div2 , How many of Hamptons could? I stick with earlier comment that the team on paper should have been more than enough to see of Hampton in my opinion of course.

I think you have just given a bad comparison because most of the team that played at Harrow are now premiership players, how many of Harrow borough players are good enough to play in the premership let alone Champ, Div 1, Div2.

Be surprised if more than 2 of those above make our 25 , Rambo will be one of them . Surely if they are good enough for the Prem then they should have beaten Hampton!

I'm with Harlow on this, the result doesn't matter, but the fact that none of our reserves will be any use, does.
