Now that we're back (for a year?) in the big leagues, maybe we should start our Reserves playing against real teams, regularly again....Pellicori and Borrowdale against Chelsea and Liverpool Reserves

Swans Reserves will vie with Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea
5 Jul 2011
Swansea City's second team will feature in the Barclays Premier Reserve League South section next season.
While the first team will travel to the likes of Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, Anfield and the Emirates Stadium in their first Premier League adventure, Alan Curtis's side can look forward to playing home matches against the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea throughout the reserve campaign.
The Swans' involvement in the south section means they play teams from the same section twice while they will take on northern section opposition once.
The winners of the south section will receive a smaller replica version of the Premier League trophy, and then take on the northern winners in a play-off for a shield. That will take place at the venue of the northern team.
Venues and dates of matches are yet to be confirmed, but Swansea will take in home games against Bolton Wanderers, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Fulham, West Bromwich Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Arsenal, Norwich City, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic.
Newly-promoted QPR, Tottenham Hotspur, Stoke City and Manchester City won't field sides in the Premier Reserve League sections for the new season.
South section
Arsenal, Fulham, Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Swansea City
North
Bolton Wanderers, Manchester United, Liverpool, Sunderland, Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, Wigan Athletic, Everton.
