Liverpool owner John W Henry has taken to social networking site Twitter (john_W_Henry) to discuss the club's transfer and stadium plans.

Henry acknowledged the need for fans to be updated on the club's ground proposals.
In response to a Liverpool fan who asked, "are we making progress on the new stadium plans?", Henry wrote back:
"An incredible amount of work has been underway on this issue.
"It would be helpful for fans to get an official update."
At the end of last season, Henry had thanked Liverpool fans on Facebook for bearing with them throughout the campaign.
"Special thanks to all LFC fans for their patience this year and their role in moving the club forward.
"Next year should be exciting.
"I believe we had the second best record for the second half of the year."
With regard to transfers, Henry was understandably coy when he posted on Twitter a few days ago.
"Speculation on players shouldn't include those of a certain age.
"We are not going to be successful by merely filling short-term needs at LFC."
A fan reacted with concern about next season's prospects.
"Does this mean that we're only thinking long term though and should brace ourselves for a wait for success?" he asked.
"I don't think so. We were very competitive in the second half of last year," responded the Liverpool owner.
"Good news, hopefully this policy also extends to overpriced British players. Thanks for all that your [sic] doing for the club," said another Liverpool fan about Fenway Sports Group's long term approach.
"Everything in sports is overpriced now - especially the cost of winning," replied Henry.
"But you make your choices based on a plan."
"We already have quite a bit of experience in the club. Should be a good balance."
"Some things happen early and some late. The important thing is that things happen.
"Sometimes what you avoid is important."
"I know it's difficult not seeing what's going on behind the scenes," sympathised Henry.
Liverpool fans have certainly been patient for long enough.
