(If any) From 2006 (before came to QPR) Giraudo and Briatore set to bid for Parma? www.xtratime.org/forum/showthread.php?t=207637Not sure when (if also 2006?)
Briatore denies Italian football club bid Friday 5 January at 12:39 : Flavio Briatore has scoffed at reports that he is preparing to bid for Italian football club Parma.Parma FC's bankrupt owner, food company Parmalat, said this week that it was trying to sell the club. Interested parties have until January 8 - Monday - to make "non-binding bids", the financial news service Bloomberg reported. La Gazzetta dello Sport published Renault chief Briatore, 56, as saying in a statement: "Following reports in the press about my interest in contributing to the acquisition of Parma, I want to make it absolutely clear that it is false. "I do not intend to acquire Parma and such a project does not figure in my plans either for now or in the future." www.onestopstrategy.com/dailyf1news/nieuw/article/2263-Briatore+denies+Italian+football+club+bid.html

Bump a couple of years... Kilburn Times Rs pass up Parma opportunity
24 June 2009QPR have surprisingly arranged a home pre-season friendly against a lower league side after passing up on the chance to play Serie A side Parma. Parma were keen to take on an English side on Saturday August 1, but the proposed game at Loftus Road fell through and the Italians will now face Watford on that date instead. Rangers, meanwhile, will complete their preparations for the new season - which starts a week later - with an uninspiring home game against relegated Southampton. The announcement completes a generally drab pre-season line-up for the Rs, with trips to Aldershot, Forest Green Rovers, Oxford and Wycombe to come before the Southampton match. www.kilburntimes.co.uk/content/ca....3A06%3A30%3A627Read more: qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=4603#ixzz1PVvKqsf9
