The QPR Player Pre-Game Show with Pete Davies and Brian Melzac:
Did anyone actually listen to it?
Does anyone know anyone who listened to it?
Forgetting possible other views of the two hosts:
What did people think of it?
I confess: I didn't listen. So it may have been the greatest thing since sliced bread and I wouldnt know it!
I expressed my view to the club before it started broadcasting about their choice. But that was based on criteria other than how good (or otherwise) they might be.
So: Was it professional? Was it good? Did it improve?
If it's continued, should both or either of these two individuals continue to host it?
Can one think of better people who'd be willing to do it?
Obviously one would imagine, the club would want the best they can get.
We are after all, a big-time Premiership club now. Got to be as professional as we can be in every aspect of how the club presents itself.

Ok, here's an honest reply to this and some answers may surprise yet from my POV it's appropriate - my answers that is.
Did anyone actually listen to it? I did three times
Does anyone know anyone who listened to it? Me
What did people think of it? I think the ideas is good to have a prematch show. But it seemed more about the hosts than actually about a prematch. Even when they had the guest on. The guest should have been the important part, then the prematch and then the hosts
So: Was it professional? Amateur hour. Was it good? average with the exception of one host whom on one occassion used his position to make a cheapshot reference to a particular MB Did it improve? Not really. My listening happened over two months so it did give them a chance to relax as they gained confidence.
If it's continued, should both or either of these two individuals continue to host it? I think the concept is an excellent idea. To be fair. Yes it helps with the prematch buildup. Although I do like listening to the FM station and hearing about other games too. Well I would not let the owner of an MB be on it or run it. Not even from this site. It can be biased and lead to possibly unfoundered accusations. It can also be used to promote one's own site and even one's ego. The last thing we fans need is some putz thinking he's some sort of egotistical uber fan with ITK knowledge
Can one think of better people who'd be willing to do it? Billy Rice was always good with his QPR media stuff and he came across as very polished and comfortable. I really miss his work. Jim Frayling would have also been an interesting guy to hear from.

Melzac/Rootbeer never did answer my question asking why he started the rumour that Warnock would be replaced.
