Goal.com/Sulmaan Ahmad 2008-09 Transfer Report Card: How Good Were Real Madrid's Signings? With the season nearing its end, Goal.com's Sulmaan Ahmad assesses how the Merengues' new signings fared in their first season, and whether the club got it right or wrong in the transfer market... Daniel Parejo: D "...Parejo is another of Madrid's own, initially promoted to the first team, then loaned out to Queens Park Rangers, then yanked back in January to provide emergency midfield cover. It was unnecessary. Freshly installed as coach, Juande Ramos obviously wanted all his bases covered in case of an emergency, but there was none. Parejo has done next to nothing since arriving back in his hometown besides being injured for a while. He is a good player, but a way away from breaking into the first team. He will be loaned out again next season. www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2009/03/19/1164245/2008-09-transfer-report-card-how-good-were-real-madrids-signings
