Good luck to him BBC - Glen Southam and Jake Cole go in Barnet clear-out New Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez has released six players, including captain Glen Southam and goalkeeper Jake Cole. Rossi Jarvis, Charlie Stimson, Danny Kelly and Reece Yorke have also been let go. The Bees have offered new contracts to Joe Devera, Mark Hughes, Steve Kabba and Mauro Vilhete. Barnet Official Site SOUTHAM LEAVES BARNET Posted on: Sat 21 May 2011 Barnet skipper Glen Southam and goalkeeper Jake Cole are among the players leaving the club next month at the end of their contracts. The club's retained list was drawn up this week by manager Lawrie Sanchez, assistant Giuliano Grazioli and first team coach Michael Stone.Southam, the 30-year-old former England C midfielder - chosen 13 times for the international side - made 34 starts and two appearances as a substitute for the Bees after being signed by former manager Mark Stimson in June 2010. His one goal for the club came from the penalty spot in the 2-2 draw at Morecambe last September. In addition to Southam and Cole, four other players will be leaving Underhill Rossi Jarvis, Charlie Stimson, Danny Kelly and Reece Yorke. Goalkeeper Cole has made 97 appearances for the Bees since leaving QPR in 2009 and Jarvis, signed last summer, 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances. Stimson, son of former manager Mark Stimson, has made seven substitute appearances since following his father from Gillingham and former Norwich City forward Kelly four.
