Well if the club had an open top paarde when we finished 2nd in 3rd tier football 7 years ago then I'm pretty sure they will arrange something for this achievement. Enjoy it if they do

How we did it last time NOTE: THIS IS SEVEN YEARS AGO, NOT NOW!.QPR Official Site
PARADE ROUTE CONFIRMEDFinal details have now been confirmed for the Queens Park Rangers open-top bus parade around Shepherds Bush and the civic reception, hosted by the Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham, on Wednesday evening. The event is being staged by Hammersmith & Fulham council in recognition of QPR's promotion back to Division One and the links forged between the Club and the community in recent seasons. The parade will get under way on the Uxbridge Road at the junction with Askew Road at 6.45pm and will NOT now begin at Loftus Road. The buses will then head East down the Uxbridge Road before going around Shepherds Bush Green in to Goldhawk Road. The route then follows a turn in to Paddenswick Road, Dalling Road and finally King Street, before arriving at Hammersmith Town Hall at approximately 7.30pm. The players and management staff will then be met by the Mayor, Cllr Charlie Treloggan, the Leader of the council, Cllr Andrew Slaughter, and other officials before heading to the first floor balcony. QPR representatives, including manager Ian Holloway will then say a few words to the assembled crowd outside the Town Hall. The Mayor is delighted to be hosting the event and is looking forward to a wonderful evening of celebration. He said: "QPR's promotion is a real achievement and I am proud to welcome the team to the town hall today on behalf of the borough. "The club are important supporters of local community programmes and as well as celebrating their latest success, we are also saying thank you for helping to make our borough a better place." Over 800 people will attend the reception at the Town Hall and supporters are advised that all tickets for the event have now been allocated.

Seven years ago QPR Official Site HEROES WELCOME Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004 Thousands of Rangers fans lined the streets of West London last night to acknowledge their promotion heroes. On an evening that will live long in the memory, Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith turned blue and white as the players and staff rolled through the streets on an open-top bus tour. Then, at around 8.30 (and an hour behind schedule!), the buses arrived at Hammersmith Town Hall for the civic reception. The team were received by the Mayor and the leader of Hammersmith and Fulham Council before Ian Holloway, Nick Blackburn, Steve Palmer, Gareth Ainsworth and Kevin Gallen addressed the crowd outside the Town Hall. The players and coaching staff were also presented with the Nationwide League Division Two runners-up shield and medals to round off a perfect evening. No-one who was present will forget the outpouring of joy and celebration that found its way on to the streets of West London last night. But just imagine what it will be like when we celebrate promotion to the Premiership next season! Here are a selection of photos from the event and now, you can also enjoy QPR World's brilliant coverage of the event. Billy Rice brings you the first part of the QPR World parade special, with fantastic footage from the parade and civic reception.

Yeah just switchwed on SSN and lo & behold Norwich are having their victory parade. So why can't QPR - surely it can't be that impossible to organise? I mean 15 years is a long time.

As much as I would love a parade around the bush, I can't see the club getting all the players back from their holiday's which I'm guessing they will leave for after todays meeting.

So that's it then - after 15 seasons of waiting, with some truly awful moments stuck in those 15 years, the club's response to the fans loyalty during that time (and they were loyal - look at the average gate for each season) is basically "stuff you"? No I don't buy that.
