It's going to be a lot more dramatic if the FA take away the Championship...This is not a few points from a Third Division Team
Now obviously, it should be applied equally...
But the focus is going to be on them.
And that cant hurt us

And yet all the omens were against us.
A terrible last few days newswise
Then no Hill
Then no Kenny
Hall off early
Missed some chances...
And still we did it....
Warnock wins my Man of the Match!

So thats it, Promotion
How do we all feel ?
Well, I feel the same as I've always felt, I'd love togo out & celebrate, but I see that black cloud on the horizon & I've never had confidence in the activities of certain club employee's being fully "above board"
The workrate & professionalism of all of the players, backroom staff & management this season ha probably only been bettered by Gerry Francis's "Classic FM" team, that was a great cavalier attacking tea that used to go for the jugular & regularly put teams to the sword at Loftus Road & without doubt the best QPR side I have ever seen, this team has been a lot more "workmanlike", but the professionalism & work ethic / responsibility of everyone involved has been amongst the best I've ever seen at QPR, probably the perfect mix of players for team in this league.
I'm going to have a can of Dr Pepper to celebrate, time & time again we have had to deal with this situation, I'd like to go out & celebrate now, but yet again we aredealng ith this situation & I can see that black cloud on the horizon & I can see its face & its an ugly face.

I'm relieved. But until FA meets and decides, I won't be really celebrating...
But whatever happens, this truly has been an incredible season. And for Neil Warnock an amazing success.
And with a number of definitely not superstar players, we've worked our way/overcome misses, and gone on....

Partial relief, and if we still go up as champs next Saturda then it'll be open the bubbly time. The hard job has been completed. Now it's up to the diplomacey.

look we are 9 points in front of Cardiff and 8 Norwich if one of them has a slip up Monday and we beat Leeds you never know , i dont think we would get more than 6-7 points taken off us .

Its just the fact that we should even have to be talking about these permutations in the first place, anyone that says it hasnt taken the seal off things is a liar. Its easy for me, I made my mind up about Football a few years ago & I dont admire it or what it has become & I dont follow it like I used to, but the people I really feel for, the father potentially having to explain to his 10 year old son who has followed us all season & views the players as his hero's & has had his dreams crushed, now that really is beyond the pale.

Its no fun partying on your own Where are the no ticket people meeting up ? Any chance of a big screen somewhere ? Start anywhere in Goldhawk Road / Uxbridge Road & let the day takes its natural course. I suppose whatever happens, all of these players & management will be heroes in QPR's history & nothing will tarnish that in the fans eyes & rightly so.

Norwich fan here Well done today, hope the FA do the right thing next week, I put a comment on here earlier today, my view is this, Now I'm not looking to start a war here but you have to admit the evidence is stacked against you and thier is no getting away from it, However, I feel if the FA do take points off you it will probably be minimal, leaving you in the 2nd or 3rd spot. personally we at Norwich arn't bothered if they don't and believe we are Stronger than Cardiff, all we have to do is win our last 2 Good luck for next season

I remember watching us being outplayed by Stockport (?!) at home the week after we had been relegated to league 1 at Huddersfield in 2001. It was an unseasonably cold April day & a poisonous, spiteful atmosphere around Loftus Road with people looking for someone to blame for what we had become, I remember some moron got on the pitch during the players procession at the end & tried to have a pop at Stewart Wardley, that day certainly was a low point in the last 15 years.
The Premiership seems like a different lifetime.

To be honest...and just to be clear, you're very welcome here - we don't actually know what the truth is. Or how significant a rule breach there might have been...or how "bad" our punishment should be.
But we do hope you finish above Cardiff!

You can be assured that the vast majority of QPR fans want you lot to go up instead of that horrible mob.

10 years ago we were almost on the brink, in admin and a humiliating relegation to 3rd tier football. I thought it was nearly the end of QPR. Never at that stage did I ever think that 10 years from then we would be "celebrating" promotion to the big time. Talk about a revival - it took a while and a lot of false turns but we are almost there.
And here is the sad part - I'm happy but I'm not celebrating. Yes I know I started the thread but right now I cannot celebrate something that could be taken away from us in the next few days.
Talk about a hollow feeling and a sense of anti-climax - and all thanks to THAT Former Two Bit Agent, THAT Former Racing Team Owner who told his driver to crash his car and a dithering FA that have waited and waited and waited until the bitter to sort out something that was brought to their attention way back in Sep.

How would you feel if the boot was on the other foot, and i am not talking about the club i am talking about the fans the people that are most affected and cannot celebrate as we otherwise would knowing that things outside our control for which none of us fans are responsible for or can affect. Poor taste, and if you posted it without really thinking about it then fair enough, just think how you would feel if it happened to Norwich fans.
