26 April 2011 : Football League Play-Offs Full Schedule
The Football League have confirmed the precise dates and times for this season's play-off matches. The exact teams involved will be tweaked slightly depending upon the final league placings, with fixtures Championship side Nottingham Forest and League Two side Port Vale to be swapped if they land in certain positions in the play-offs. However, the dates of each match, which will be screened live on Sky Sports are now cast in stone and are as follows:
First Legs:
Thu 12/05/2011 19:45hrs : Championship 6th vs 3rd
Fri 13/05/2011 19:45hrs : Championship 5th vs 4th
Sat 14/05/2011 12:45hrs : League One 6th vs 3rd
Sat 14/05/2011 17:45hrs : League Two 7th vs 4th
Sun 15/05/2011 12:15hrs : League One 5th vs 4th
Sun 15/05/2011 18:30hrs : League Two 6th vs 5th
Second Legs:
Mon 16/05/2011 19:45hrs : Championship 3rd vs 6th
Tue 17/05/2011 19:45hrs : Championship 4th vs 5th
Wed 18/05/2011 19:45hrs : League One : 3rd vs 6th
Thu 19/05/2011 19:45hrs : League One : 4th vs 5th
Fri 20/05/2011 19:45hrs : League Two : 4th vs 7th
Fri 20/05/2011 19:45hrs : League Two : 5th vs 6th
Finals:
Sat 28/05/2011 : League Two Play-Off Final (Old Trafford)
Sun 29/05/2011 : League One Play-Off Final (Old Trafford)
Mon 30/05/2011 : Championship Play-Off Final (Wembley)
For the above fixtures, if Nottingham Forest finish in 5th place, both Championship first and second leg pairings will be swapped around (i.e. the matches on 12th/13th will be swapped, and the matches on 16th/17th will be swapped).
If Port Vale finish in 7th position in League Two, then the First Leg play-off matches will be swapped around (i.e. the games on 14th/15th May will be swapped).
