I didn't listen. But hey if someone goes on and denigrates, I think a response is warranted.

And if you're serious about doing an independent show, you try and have real balance among your guests.

I have no problem with anyone defending the Paladini perspective. But in some cases, the advocate goes far beyond that. And that's something I doubt that few people would disagree with.

That's why it's such a shame to see the self confessed liar have another unprovoked go at our board with another lie regarding how quiet we are when we're doing well, especially when our threads show up uncredited on his board soon after appearing on this board first.

Often word for word.

And this comes after both he and his lackey attacked our board in such a childishly dumb fashion that we had to ban him and his many usernames.

Another round of bullshite emanating from the cheerleaders.

I would say it's a waste of their time, but from what I can tell, it seems to be the highlight of their lives.

Moving on? When it suits you I guess. ::)

When I have got about six hours to spare I will attempt to make some sense of your posting ::)

I expect you will think that response is enough to ban me even though you must be possibly the rudest and certainly most paranoid poster I have seen on any messageboard and have certainly put off many from posting again after you have started on them because of their opinions

I guess you can though because you know you are a mod and simply enjoy flexing your muscle which in my book is quite simply a form of bullying though you cannot see that of course being so perfect

Ban you? What for?

We hardly ban anyone here so what you are basing that comment on is unknown to me.

I have never said I was perfect!

Are you trying to portray me as condescending?

Again what are you basing that comment on?

I certainly do like a good debate, though I've never come down heavy as a mod and certainly don't see or feel any power with what is mainly a responsibility to just make sure this board is enjoyable to all.

In the past posters have refused to argue with me, not by pointing out where I was wrong, but by claiming victimisation and avoiding the actual debate with paranoid delusions, exactly like you have done so here.

Please give me examples of my paranoia. I am intrigued by your statement as to me it is entirely unjustified.

On this site, we don't ban people just because they disagree with a moderator. (And if anyone says differently, that doesn't make it any more true)

I hope the hostility you refer to Isleworth, is the rubbish from Pete about this site. Totally wrong of someone to hijack a QPR chatshow and abuse it with his own agenda and denigrate a raft of posters, who are Rangers fans, the majority of whom don't even know him! Wouldn't you agree?

Could you please advise some examples of posters whom have decided not to post in response to Mark? Perhaps we can sort things out with them. did they PM you only to advise this ? Were they too upset to pm any other mod and complain about Marks postings?

I am curious about this as like all the other mods we would like this board to progress in a positive way and by answering my requests we maybe able to encouraging those non posters into giving it another go.

I didn't listen either and never have. However, it was reported higher up the thread. Not sure if he's having a pop at the owner or the site in general but I took it as an unnecessary slight and glad you agree.

Enjoy the trip, no blow up stuff though eh! ;)

Four of us planned to go up today and stay over but the driver is working in Poole for three days! C'est la vie! :(

I'll save you the time and bother.

I had a debate with one poster over the mortgage of the ground in relation to the shareholder's letter relating to the postponement of the repayment deadline.

That poster put up his opinion, I argued it in bullet point fashion as not to allow any misunderstanding as can happen on messageboards and even was polite but in disagreement.

The poster took offence to such a comprehensive argument against him, it was as if he didn't expect a debate in a public forum!

He offered no counter argument, only a claim of victimisation that wasn't there and ran away.

If there are others, I certainly do not remember anyone complaining or the actual arguments.

Please don't let this thread turn away from it's original subject due to baseless and unsubstantiated claims from an individual.

Mark, you are a good Mod and you do a lot behind the scenes as well as being a good poster. Don't feel you need to explain yourself to anyone. Especially when you haven't done anything wrong.

As for the program. Didn't listen to it. Certain people are desperate for Report and this site to fail and get quite wound up that it hasn't happened. When Reported started this site they laughed as they didn't think it would last more than 5 minutes. They took the p*ss as they joked about it having more Mods than posters. Ridiculed it as they commented that no one who posts here goes to matches. So it has been a massive shock for them to see this site grow from strength to strength and gain in popularity. They regularly sneak on here with false names trying to stir things up and cause arguments. Threatened legal action and used other underhanded moves, that I won't go into.

Their desperate attempts to hurt this site has failed. So resorting to pot shots on the radio with their mates is the next step and no surprise at all. I suppose it must be like therapy for them. All the pent up frustration needs to come out somehow. I guess it's better it comes out in digs on the radio and releases the pressure that's been building. On occasions like this it's probably best they're locked in a studio and not wandering around loose in the community.

So we are referring to one poster, not more than one poster? Ok. Mark didn't have to explain himself but he has in a very clear and consise way.

The amount of new members and their posting qualitys has been as outstanding this season as the teams performance. Brilliant to see for the most part.

There are so many things I could say.... (And probably over the years I have said them :D )

Maybe next time the two hosts are on together, Brian can ask his cohost why the (self-proclaimed) "#1 QPR fan site" doesn't live up to its own rules of posting! [image]

Anyway with Gianni soon gone (from my lips to G-d's ear [image] ) who knows what the future holds...! [image]

Ust a few comments observations on various things re this thread.

Many of us do go to many games and have season tickets. And for those that dont go or cant go for whatever reason are no less a QPR fan than anyone else.

Perhaps the jnet show may attract different or more listeners if the co-host wasnt an ever present.

We post here on this site as it is a friendly place to post, without childish bickering and without much txt lingo spk init.

My first and biggest affinity is to my/our club, not to this site or that site etc, and i would think the same goes for the very vast majority of QPR fans, we have our own reasons of posting where we do but do not denegrate other QPR fan sites.

Bottom line is we are all Queen's Park Rangers fans and as such really should get along much better than we do, i felt for years that we were one big family, and to this day i feel a warm afinity when ever i see another R. Sadly there are those who want to disrput our one big happy family.

Well said Hogan.

Petey is a clown and a liar and best ignored.

He keeps banging on about this site being quiet and yet as far as I know we're the only board he chooses to promote his radio show and WATRB match previews/reports...

WE are QPR!!

A very diplomatic way of putting it Hogan. QPR always had a reputation for being a famly club, It seems all the brothers, sisters, mums, dads, aunts can uncles can get along very well except perhaps one spoiled child. But otherwise you may have noticed this site gets along well with every other site and they get along with each other to, with again the spoiled child seemingly unpopular with most everyone.

this is a particular season to be savouring and us all celebrating together. Perhaps a time out or a spell in the naughty chair may help the spoiled child see the ills of his ways?

Asked today about his reported comments re this board, Pete on WATRB today...

QBlockPete

I made the point that some make more of a noise when things are not going well and stick by that.

We are going back to the premiership, playing the best football for some time. I don't really want to read stuff again from years gone by that are negative, I want to enjoy the moment.

Also stand by the fact I was banned under qblockpete and if anyone disagrees with some of their innuendos than they are also banned.

.They have good posters that post here too, also got some good posters who post exclusively on that site HarlowRanger, (neil, when he wants),.

Trouble is it doesn't allow debate and its always stifled by its main moderator.

Thats all I want to say really.

PS, gReat for QPR articles and keeping everyone up to date with news. Best site for it in fact.

More lies, why don't he just give it a rest ffs!!! ::)

One man's personal vendetta attempting to slur us all, plain daft.

I don't visit his site but I'm making a guess that his opinion is not the opinion of all posters there attempting to slur everyone on there would be equally silly. Hence we don't do it.

Four or five assertions (I'll obviously accept the praise for the site and the posters - and there are many, many other great posters here, not named)

I guess I see things somewhat differently! And I won't - at least for now - get into a myriad of other matters one could very easily focus on

"..I also find it insulting that qpr-reports site are asking so many questions. They seem to want to know everything that goes on at the club..."
