Thanks for uploading those two gems (especially the tripped out B side); I had never heard them before.
So the song mentions the European Cup. Now I know that in 1967 the League tried to raise the profile of the League Cup by holding the final at Wembley and the winners given a place in one of the European Cups? so how come we never got that place? I mean, it is does seem a bit unfair. I'm curious about how it happened, does anyone know any more?

Back then "only" Div 1 clubs were allowed to appear in Europe - we were considered not good enough I guess. Despite promotion as well.
