Saw this on another teams site, thought it would be fun to have a crack at our worst ever eleven
GK Bankole RB Barker (Chris not Simon obv!) LB Curtis CB Ready (Carl could have got in at full back too!) CB Orr RM Parejo (Probably end up the best of these bay a million miles!) CM Zelic CM Fillery LM Meaker FW Sealy FW Sheron

I'd strongly disagree with quite a few of those. For example Sheron wasn't bad, per se. He just cost far too much/was aid far too much. Sealy had a great season with QPR in our promotion season - Think he was our top scorer. Orr wasn't "bad." He just crippled before he played a game
And I could probably assemble a pretty "Strong" (ie "weakest links") XI just from Gianni years.

Again I disagree
Kelly was not at all bad
Ian Watson was a stalwart. The only member of the QPR squad to be an ever-present on the 1968/69 First Division Relegaton team
Ron Hunt: Not the GREATEST center half...I agree...But we've had worse...And think what he did for in the 1967 final.
Frank Sibley: He was class until he was injured.. And his Playing careeer ended at 23....Youngest travelling member of the England U-23 squad, where he got injured.
Now some others I might agree with

Surely must be a place for the Gianni-era signings of Ugo Ukah and Armel Tchakounte.
(And I LOVED the way, Gianni put the blame for Armel on Waddock)

Maybe Sheron, Orr and Parejo deserve to be in the the most disappointing XI then!
Zesh definitely deserves make the team, can't believe I forgot him.
Sealy wasn't terrible but I can clearly remember him missing open goal after open goal one season.
Hately should have made the team in front of him, I have never been so angry after a Rangers goal as when scored in a cup tie (at Wimbledon was it?) and cupped his ear to the fans. W*nker.

yeah i do feel a bit sad for sibley, but im still very angry with him for the 68-69 season, that was the season that tony hazell god bless him actually played well against the best teams in england but sibley was woefull he back tracked faster than barrry bridges could sprint forwards, but its so very hard to be crittical of anyone who has worn the famous qpr shirts,i cant accept that sheron was one of our woest players, and fillery was i thought brilliant also seally actually ended up as our leading scorer one season, but this will be a very emotive thread

Do you remember how old Sibley was in 1968-69? I don't think he was bad in the slightest

Framk Sibley was a very talented player. Should be no where near the list. Hateley, Zelic, Ernie Howe, What about that Scotsman that came down here for a while before going up to Motherwell back in the 80's?? And whatever happened to those trplets that we signed from Ireland.

I notice Alan Wilkes is a candidate here. What ever happened to him? Don't forget he scored all 5 goals in a cup game years back and I was at the match!

Sieb Dykstra in goal, while Zesh, Sheron (sorry he was a waste of money and a flop), Zelic (my all time favourite), Vinnie Jones, Steve Morrow and Mark Hately would all be vying for a spot on my worst ever QPR team. Then there were all those Italian midfielders that all came to QPR during Former Two Bit Agent's time as chairman and chief wrecker that also deserve their place on that list.
And the coach - how about Ray Harford, with Gary Waddock as & his assistant - with Chris Wright & Paladini as the chairmen.
Sealy was indeed our top scorer when El Tel walked away with the 82/83 Div 2 title. He couldn't have been that bad.

For some of you, XI is Roman Numerals for 11, not 10.
I presume you mean Richard ORD, not Bradley Orr. Harsh otherwise.
Mine is: 1. Bankole 2. Curtis 3. Bruce 4. V.Jones 5. Ready 6. Andrew Davies 7. Scully 8. Zelic 9. Angell 10. Leaburn 11. Goodridge
