this is the pits, i got in put the radio on and heard the news, put me straight off my dinner, i cant believe the club could put it self in this position after the tevez saga, surely even paladini is not that stupid, but this will be a points deduction for sure if found guilty, the fa haven't the balls to stand up to the big boys, but clubs like qpr dont stand a chance, ask luton town there tell you the same, if found guilty i predict a 30 point deduction, as is always its us fans who pay for other peoples incompetence, it never rains at rangers it only pours.

Its not incompetence, its corruption & criminality, everyone knew what was going on, we should look at ourselves for not drumming him out of the club ago.

The defence is yes, we broke the rules but by accident.

So, basically Pallidini's incompetence is our excuse. ::)

And the fine can just be added to the cost of the boards decision to keep him at the club.

I'm expecting a points deduction regardless of whether or not they believe the wrongdoing was deliberate or not, fact is if they can prove we fielded an illegible player due to false registration then they will deduct points.

Pallidini and the club will always maintain their innocence and say it was a mistake, but the fact that we are not disputing the registration issue says it all to me.

Fcuk this. Heads have to roll.

Now Bushman, dont put this in our history. [image] [image]

Reminds me of White Sox scandal which Im sure few of you know. In 1919 the Chicago White Sox went to the World Series, for first time in history. Gambling was discovered with players throwing matches, and forever were known as the Black Sox.
That wore off and they finally won, their only one in 2003 or 4.

But throwing games is the ultimate outrage in any sport.

But you read these reports, and your'e concerned and you're worried and you;re outraged. But are you actually SURPRISED that something like this might happen.

Many things over the past few years...that have been suggested

Even if it's just a question of "efficiency" - as in the Tommy Smith signing that didnt go through

Or signings that just werent too good...or the contracts were given for long periods. And on and on.

So that the suggestion was let Gianning be a talker and greeter. And that's it.

But of course it is true, he had avid defenders...A handful...And of course there were the leaks

Flashback II - What else was said/reported when he signed

QPR sign Alejandro Faurlin
Jul 8 2009 London Informer

IT NEEDED a £500,000 compensation fee to Inter Milan to make sure Alejandro Faurlin joined QPR on Tuesday for a record £3.5million.

The Serie A side has a pre-contract arrangement with the 22-year-old playmaker, (right), a star in his country's U17 World Cup team of 2003.

The Italians first recognised they had a potential gem on their hands after spotting the name Faurlin when he racked up six goals against six different Primera Division teams for his club, Instituto AC Cordoba.

Inter stepped aside when they admitted they couldn't guarantee Faurlin first-team football - but wanted the pay-off to allow him to join Rangers instead.

Boss Jim Magilton has been running the rule over Faurlin in training before taking the plunge because he desperately wanted someone to supply Rangers' wingers and forwards with inch-perfect passes.

"I had opportunities to play in Spain, Italy and Greece, but QPR was my choice and I'm delighted to be here," Faurlin said.

"I was really impressed with the set-up and the ambition of the club and can't wait to make my debut."

Magilton added: "We've had a good look at him and I believe he will be a valuable addition to the squad.

"He's a likeable young lad who plays with a smile on his face, so we'll have no problems."

Rangers agreed a three-year deal for their new signing, whose fee eclipses the previous best, £2.7m shelled out for striker Mike Sheron in 1997 - a fee that netted Rs only 13 goals from the Stoke City striker in two seasons.

Maybe we will get off. thats my only hope. supporting this club is now taking too much of a toll. So.if we do get off, Paladini will of course stay ,with his little family of 'real supporters" who he will then buy each an ice cream with the leader getting a double dip

Conversely, although removed as sporting director (or whatever) he was kept in place specifically to answer any possible charges.

Charging and blaming the individual could exhonerate the club.

Equally conversely, there may be no wrong doings whatsoever and as I previously mentioned, innocent until proven guilty.

Just yet, we do not need a witch hunt, we need to stick together for the common good and the common goal.

As I asked in the past of a certain individual on a certain other board: "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"

I doubt though that many will proclaim that they're "shocked. shocked" at this even as a charge...It's much more "same old, same old" (within certain limits)

Well I think almost all of us would prefer Gianni at QPR and us in the Premiership
Than a QPR "free of Gianni" but relegated to "League One"

Points Deduction

Queens Park Rangers face points deduction after fielding ineligible player

Championship leaders Queens Park Rangers face a possible points deduction after they were charged with a breach of rule banning third-party ownership in relation to Alejandro Faurlin.

Costly mistake: Alejandro Faurlin (left) in action for Queens Park Rangers in their recent defeat of Ipswich Town Photo:

The Argentine midfielder joined QPR in July 2009 from Institute FC for £3.5 million but it is now alleged that when he did so an un-named third-party retained a stake in his economic rights.

The FA on Wednesday charged the club and chairman Gianni Paladini with breaching seven regulations, including providing false information when the player was registered.

It is also charged with making payments to an unauthorised agent when Faurlin was signed.

If found guilty the club could face a range of penalties from a fine to a points deduction that might place their promotion chase in jeopardy. They are currently seven points clear at the top of the Championship and strong favourites to return to the Premier League.

The closest parallel to the case is that of Carlos Tévez who played for West Ham United in breach of the Premier League's third-party rules.

West Ham were eventually punished with a £5m fine rather than a points deduction and Tévez was permitted to continue playing, scoring the goals that kept the club in the league.

Sheffield United were the biggest losers from the Tévez case, being relegated under the management of Neil Warnock, who is now in charge at Loftus Road.

The FA consider that Faurlin, who is a QPR regular played 31 games and has scored twice this season, has been eligible to play because his registration was lodged with the FA.

The club will be charged with concealing the true nature of his contract from the FA when making that registration.

The Football League discovered the alleged breach of rules in September last year but as it did not have rules banning third –party ownership at the time he signed the case was passed to the FA.

The FA allowed QPR to buy out the third-party rights in October 2010 so that the player could continue to play without breaching any rules.

At the time QPR announced he had signed a four-year contract extension but did not mention the change in his contractual arrangements.

In a statement the FA said: "The FA has charged Queens Park Rangers FC with seven breaches of FA regulations.

‪"The Club charges relate to the player Alejandro Faurlin and concern the alleged existence of an agreement between the Club and a third party in respect of the player's economic rights, and the alleged failure by the Club to notify The FA of that agreement before the player was registered to play in England in July 2009.

‪"These charges are brought under FA Rules C1(b)(iii) and E3, and the Third Party Investment in Players Regulations, A1 and A2.

"The Club is also charged with allegedly using or seeking to pay an Unauthorised Agent in relation to the player's registration in July 2009.

This charge is brought under the Players Agents Regulations, A1.

‪"The Club and Club Official Gianni Paladini are also charged in respect of allegedly false information contained in documents submitted to The FA in relation to the same player signing an extension to his playing contract with the Club in October 2010. These charges are brought under the Players Agents Regulations, C2, and FA Rule E3."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footbal....ble-player.html

If all of the above is true then how can we be charged? Football League rules were not broken and we complied with FA rules when required.

This makes no sense!!!!!

Other than the FA hate Warock obviously! ;) ;D

That´s my understanding from it as well!!

Let´s stay calm. :P

GUARDIAN
FA charges QPR with breaking third-party rules over Alejandro Faurlin• Alleged breaches cover transfer of midfielder in 2009
• Championship leaders could face points deduction

Queens Park Rangers have been charged with seven breaches of Football Association regulations relating to Alejandro Faurlin who joined the club in the summer of 2009. The Championship leaders could face a points deduction if found guilty.

QPR said they denied all the charges and would request an FA hearing to answer the charges. The FA announced on its website that the charges "concern the alleged existence of an agreement between the club and a third party in respect of [Faurlin's] economic rights, and the alleged failure by the club to notify the FA of that agreement before the player was registered to play in England in July 2009".

The Argentinian midfielder was signed in a deal worth £3.4m and he won the player of the year award in his first full season with the club.

QPR are also charged, under the Players Agents Regulations A1, with allegedly using or seeking to pay an unauthorised agent in relation to the player's registration.

The FA said: "The club and club official Gianni Paladini are also charged in respect of allegedly false information contained in documents submitted to the FA in relation to the same player signing an extension to his playing contract with the club in October 2010."

QPR said in a statement: "Having co-operated fully with the FA's investigation, QPR and Mr Paladini shall be denying all of the charges and requesting a formal FA hearing to determine them. QPR and Mr Paladini are confident that there has been no deliberate wrongdoing involved."

Anyone know when we are likely to have the hearing?

I tell you, IF we go up, with the talk of new owners and this GP F**K up on NW shoulders - he should be given a knighthood.

How many transfers can we cock up , just seems to be one travesty after another , just when we found a Manager that turned our Club around to something special , it gets pulled out from under us because probably of more incompetence !
What a shambles , we have just been made the new official laughing stock of the football world.
Its Neil , the Players and us fans that i feel the saddest for !
If NW decided to walk at the end of the season i dont blame him !
How the hell is he supposed to motivate players for the last 10 games !
I cant post anymore today this is killing me! [image] [image]

This player appeared in 6 games between August 2010 - September 2010 before the FL discovered the 3rd party interest in the player. The FL instructed QPR to buy out the 3rd party interest prior to accepting a new extended contract for the player.

Under FL rules 40.1 this breach makes the player ineligible to play in it's competitions. Under FL rule 40.2 a club WILL be deducted 3 points for every match in which it play an ineligible player - 18 points minimum for QPR if found guilty.

Under FL rules 40.1 this breach makes the player ineligible to play in it's competitions. Under FL rule 40.2 a club WILL be deducted 3 points for every match in which it play an ineligible player - 18 points minimum for QPR if found guilty.

Don't agree.

"The Football League discovered the alleged breach of rules in September last year but as it did not have rules banning third –party ownership at the time he signed the case was passed to the FA. "

Therefore no breach of FL rules. The FA cannot deduct points.
