I was also at the 6th round game and was heartbroken at the end when we lost 2-0,whatever happened to Joe Waters after that game anyway??
In recent times we were losing 2-0 at h/t and I stuck £10 for us to win 3-2 which came in ;D

CPR, the reason that we weren't wearing the hoops in the quarter final, is that in those days in the FA cup, is was the home side that had to change strip in the event of a colour clash.

Rangers wore the Red shirts because Leicester City turned up with an all white kit that clashed with the Blue & white kit of the R's.

Didn't see the first; did see the second and third
16 year old Martyn Busby making his QPR debut last match of the season away to Leicester in 1969/70 (Lost 1-2)
Earlier that same season, the two highest-paid stars of the Second Division - at 100 pounds a week (as it was reported then), Rodney Marsh vs Peter Shilton's Leiecester -drew 1-1 at Loftus Road
QPR and
Nw signing, 19 year old Phil Parkes making his QPR debut first home game of the season against eicester (after opening loss away to Birmingham, with Spratley in goal) - QPR lost 3-1!
