Hewitt went with the squad to Middlesbrough. He even was out on the pitch during the warm up. Should be a cert. Remember, it took QPR 1 1/2 month to verify the PVM signing, although Norwegian media verified this in mid November.

Besides why aren't we also buying this guy (yes greedy!), maybe this also explains why QPR are not yet announcing it - Maybe Because window's passed/closed and not legally allowed to? Talksport West Ham still in hunt for non-league starlet o By Declan Taylor West Ham are still hopeful of landing non-league starlet Quade Taylor - even though Dulwich Hamlet have already accepted a bid from Crystal Palace. The all-action midfielder has been hailed as one of the non-League's brightest talents and Palace have now agreed a fee with Dulwich to sign him. But there has been a hold up in the deal, because it is outside the transfer window, and now Palace must wait until the summer to land the 17-year-old. West Ham, who signed another Dulwich prospect Paul Mccallum in January, are hoping to capitalise on the delay and agree a deal of their own for Taylor, who impressed on a week-long trial at the club in February. But Palace are aware of West Ham's interest and are trying to tie up a pre-contract agreement with Taylor to ensure they land him in the summer.www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/5590/0/west-ham-still-hunt-non-league-starlet

They're missing him even if we refuse to announce him! Kilburn Times/Ian Cooper
Troy story isn’t the end for BoroughThursday, March 3, 2011 MANAGER David Howell insists Troy Hewitt’s transfer to QPR will not derail Harrow Borough’s challenge for the Ryman League play-offs.Hewitt netted 20 goals in all competitions for Borough, forging a potent partnership with the experienced Rocky Baptiste, before his switch to Loftus Road following a successful trial. The 21-year-old striker becomes the third Borough youngster to make the step up to the Football League in recent years, following the departures of Robin Shroot to Birmingham City and Albert Adomah, who has since moved from Barnet to Bristol City. “We’ll cope fine without him,” Howell declared. “I was asked the same question when Albert left – people thought the club was going to fold. But no single player makes a team and we have to move on. “Troy was a leader, not so much vocally but certainly in his actions, and he and Rocky had a good partnership going. The two of them struck fear into any team, they fed off each other. “One week Troy would score a couple, the next week Rocky would – but we have to adjust without him. Now Rocky has to stand up and take on a bit more responsibility. “With 10 or 12 games left to go this season, we know anything can happen. As for the play-offs, at the moment in terms of form you would have to say we’re outsiders, but there will be a lot more twists and turns yet.” Details of Hewitt’s move have yet to be made public, but it is understood that the deal includes a compensation package to Harrow and the promise of a strong QPR side to visit Earlsmead in pre-season.
Rs boss Neil Warnock has indicated that the young forward will be in contention to play a part in his promotion-chasing side during the remainder of the Championship campaign. And Howell is confident that Hewitt, who averaged two goals every three games for Borough after his move from Ilford last summer, is capable of bridging a gap of five divisions. “It’s a great move for Troy and credit to him, he’s put into practice what we’ve been teaching him, and I think there’s no stopping him now,” Howell added.“He has the raw ability, but his biggest asset is his temperament, the way he’s handled himself throughout the move has been first-class. It is a massive step up for him, but he’ll be ok – ultimately, he’s a good footballer.” Borough slumped in Tuesday’s night’s derby clash with Wealdstone at Earlsmead, going down 4-2 after defender Danny Leech had been sent off for a foul on Lee Chappell early in the second half. Dewayne Clarke cancelled out Peter Dean’s opener for the Stones, but Chappell made it 2-1 and Alex Dyer then netted the rebound after Dean’s penalty had been saved by Nick Jupp. Harrow pulled the game back to 3-2 after Jonathan North spilled Kenta Nakashima’s free-kick over the line, but Dean made certain of victory for Wealdstone with his second of the night in injury time. www.kilburntimes.co.uk/sport/football/troy_story_isn_t_the_end_for_borough_1_817897

Strange little tweet from local journalist Yann Tear - Given Harrow have repeatedly said he's joined us. Yann Tear - March 10 @james_W12 NW was coy on the subject of Troy last week. Hinted he is being asked to send someone else out on loan before he can recruit TH twitter.com/#!/YannTear

Throw in the local QPR media, which before "the Signing" were saying we were pursuing it/Warnock was quoted, etc, etc...And then,...Nothing. By them. Nothing on the Official Site...No "in training" etc, etc.
Now possibly because it was past transfer deadline, there might be some special regulation that he can't announced?
Now at any "normal" club wouldn't give the lack of announcement any thought. But QPR have a history. When something is not said (and sometimes when something is said) there's a reason...

We are special Mac. A special club in first place, then the Shock Therapy. If you dont think this disrupts the club even as CPRsays theres nothing here, which would be great. Already Colin, hasnt had time to train the team this week. I tried to find out on another blog if theres a history in the FA of a top team this late in season being threatened with point subtraction and it happening, I didnt find anyone that did. but it must have somewhere sometime wouldnt you think?

Speculations on reasons for delay.
He was given a physical but didnt pass it.
They forgot to give him a physical.
They gave a physical to the wrong person.
When he arrived no one knew who he was.
They thought he was a Football League investigator.
The football league said that he was owned 50% by a dog trainer in Sudbury.
We sent the money but the cheque bounced.
We forgot to send the money.
We werent supposed to send any money but we did.
Paladini sent the money to his aunt in Modena.
Bernie kidnapped him and thought he would be a better F1. driver.
If I have missed the correct answer please supply.

QPR OFFICIAL SITE
R'S TIE UP HEWITT DEALPosted on: Mon 14 Mar 2011 QPR have completed the signing of Harrow Borough hot-shot Troy Hewitt on a two-and-a-half year deal. The striker, who only turned 21 last month, has put pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2013. R's gaffer Neil Warnock expressed his delight at the deal, commenting: "Troy is definitely worth a shout," he told www.qpr.co.uk. "He's got a great eye for goal and a really good attitude. "David Howell (Harrow Manager) deserves a lot of credit for the way he's developed." Warnock added: "Whilst the focus is very much on the here and now at the moment, it's important we look towards the future too. "Troy's got a bright future ahead of him." Hewitt - who notched 20 goals for the Ryman Premier division outfit earlier this season - added: "It's a dream come true to sign for a professional Club, especially one like QPR. "It's a huge challenge for me personally, but one I'm going to relish." He added: "I'm very lucky to be in this position, but nothing fazes me and I am very positive about the situation. "I've got a lot of confidence in my own ability and I am ready to grasp the opportunity with both hands." Hewitt will wear the number 42 shirt. *(Photo credit - Andrew Aleksiejczuk) www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2315153,00.html
