Patrick Agyemang
Patrick Agyemang is a former North End star who amassed 122 appearances at Deepdale, building a reputation as a pacey, goalscoring forward.
Signed from Gillingham in 2004, Agyemang will best be remembered for a stunning over-head kick against West Brom which grabbed North End all three points.
Patrick moved to QPR in January 2008 and started in blistering form for the R's scoring eight goals in six games. However injury meant that his career at Loftus Road has left him making fewer appearances than he would have hoped, meaning that he has made just 61 appearances in three seasons scoring 16 goals.
One To Watch
Adel Taraabt
The obvious choice for the one-to-watch is headline grabbing Adel Taraabt.
And the Moroccan's performances this season have seen him linked with moves to big clubs like Premier League giants Manchester United.
Taraabt arrived at QPR in July 2009 initially on loan before the Hoops made the transfer a permanent one and Adel has not looked back since.
Having been made captain at the start of this season, his performances have helped the team reach the summit of the Championship and North End will have to be wary of the goal threat he poses after already scoring 14 goals this term from midfield.

North End's 2-1 victory over QPR on the final day of the 2008/09 campaign will go down in the Club's history as a great Championship moment.
The win pushed North End into the play-offs at the expense of Cardiff City following a ten game run in which the Lilywhites only lost two games.
Going into the game, Alan Irvine's men knew nothing less than a win would be good enough and in the end they didn't disappoint the 18,264 inside Deepdale.
North End opened the scoring on 34 minutes after Jon Parkin lashed home from inside the area but former Preston forward Patrick Agyemang levelled on 74 minutes.
With time ticking away word filtered through to Deepdale that Cardiff were losing at Hillsborough which lifted the team on the field.
And out of nowhere current captain Sean St. Ledger rose highest in the Hoops' area to head home and send the fans into ecstacy.

Nicholson Has No Fear
Posted on: Thu 17 Feb 2011
QPR
Barry Nicholson will have no fear going into Saturday's clash with Queens Park Rangers, and believes that the Lilywhites will have a good chance of three points if they can replicate Tuesday night's first half performance.
Phil Brown's men raced to a two goal lead in the first half, with Nicholson claiming an assist for Sean St Ledger's headed opener after just 37 seconds.
Deepdale is playing host to North End versus top of the table QPR, a game that begins a run of difficult matches for the Lilywhites, with Nottingham Forest, Burnley, Norwich City and Leeds United all following in the coming weeks.
Nicholson believes that if Preston can get off to another good start to the game, they can go on to topple the team at the top of the table, a win that would hopefully start a successful run.
Speaking to pne.com, Nicholson said: "They [QPR] are sitting on top of the table so we know that it is going to be really difficult.
"Every game in the Championship is difficult, we have got to apply ourselves properly and hopefully start the game like we did on Tuesday night against Watford.
"If we start like that on Saturday then we will give ourselves a good chance."
That explosive start has given the side plenty of belief and scoring twice was something that North End hasn't been able to do since October.
With the goals returning to the North End side, Nicholson revealed that the manager has told them that they are close to looking a really threatening side.
The midfielder said: "The manager has already spoken to us about it; we have just got to cut out the errors. The gaffer said after the game that we are an error away from three points.
"If we cut out the mistakes then we can give anybody problems. Scoring a couple of goals is definitely a positive and we have got to take positives away from it."
Barry Nicholson
With the introduction to the squad of Amine Linganzi and Ian Ashbee, North End's central midfield has extremely stiff competition.
As well as Nicholson, Linganzi and Ashbee, Brown has Paul Coutts, Adam Barton, Darel Russell and Darren Carter all fighting for a spot in the starting line-up.
North End's number ten has spoken of the importance of competition for this upcoming period of difficult games and knows that there is no place for complacency in the squad.
The midfielder finished by saying: "We need this competition for places and to make sure that nobody gets too comfortable playing in the positions that they are playing.
"The more players at the club, the better the competition for places and the more the players are kept on their toes.
"I personally feel fit enough to play in these games, the manager has got decisions to make for who will be playing in these games.
"If you're not in the team, you need to be fit and ready to come in when called upon, that is what everyone's concentrating on.
"Hopefully we have got enough bodies in the squad for the manager to change things should he need to due to the number of games.
"We have just got to work hard for the team because it is a difficult period for us."
