Cohen believes Forest can outplay leaders QPR next weekendCHRIS Cohen believes Nottingham Forest can go to QPR and out play the Championship leaders next weekend, if the London side choose to go toe-to-toe with a passing game.
The midfielder is confident the Reds can secure their seventh straight win at Loftus Road, if the game proves to be an open affair.
"Hopefully we can go to QPR and get the win, to make things interesting at the top," said Cohen.
"They do normally look to play and pass the ball and they do have good players and an array of strikers who would make many clubs in this division jealous.

"But we can't complain, because we have enough quality ourselves.
"It is going to be a good game. We are going to take a good support down there.
"And, if teams leave themselves open, we do feel we can pass around them. We feel we can pass the ball as well as anyone in the division."
Different qualities were required to help Forest to a 1-0 win over Watford on Saturday however, as they held on under significant late pressure.
"Teams will come here and try to beat us up. But this season we seem more resolute. We seem to be defending better. I also think we are having a little more luck, which is always welcome," said Cohen.
"It was another good win. We played very well in the first half, in particular. It was as well as we have played in a while.
"In the second half, we had to dig out the result a little bit. We have found the battling qualities we need to do that.
"It is a nightmare finishing games like that, because it would only have taken one slip and a team that did not deserve it would have got a draw out of the game.
"We got a great early goal and then carved out some great opportunities, without having the killer instinct to finish things off.
"Their keeper made some good saves. But sometimes you have to grind things out and we have done that in the last few matches.
"I think we probably played better at home last season, but this season we still seem to be picking up the results here.
"Crucially, at the same time, we are battling better away from home. We feel a lot more confident away from home and the defence has been brilliant."
Meanwhile, boss Billy Davies has told his Forest side to keep their feet on the ground, after notching up their sixth straight league win.
The Reds boss says his players can celebrate if they win something at the end of the season.
"They have not done anything yet," said Davies. "If we can get over the line, in the next 18 matches, and maybe win something, then we can talk about how great this team is.
"At the moment we have won nothing. They are playing some great football and are on a good run. But we cannot shout from the rooftops until we have won something.
"There are many teams still in the race, when you look at the teams who are strong and have depth.
"There will be one or two who come through the pack. It is a very difficult division to get out of.
"Look at the opposition and the competition. Do not miss anyone out, because there are plenty who can challenge."

Tudgay: We should be aiming to shoot down leaders QPRMARCUS Tudgay today told Nottingham Forest they should be aiming to shoot down QPR and take top spot in the Championship.
But the striker also insisted that Billy Davies would make sure nobody in the City Ground dressing room gets carried away.
A Tudgay strike after just 52 seconds earned the 1-0 win over Watford that lifted the Reds into second place in the table.
And the former Sheffield Wednesday man says Forest should now set their sights on closing the gap between themselves and Neil Warnock's side – who they face at Loftus Road next weekend.
But, at the same time, he says manager Davies will make sure no Forest player is allowed to start believing they have achieved anything yet.
"We have had a taste of second place – now why not go for first?" said Tudgay.
"We are not going to get carried away, however. We have a big game at the weekend and we know that.
"We are on a high now but it might be a low next week if we allow ourselves to get carried away.
"We have to work hard in training, keep our feet on the ground and be prepared for a big, big challenge. We have a full week to work hard."
Tudgay expects Davies' influence to be significant this week.
"The gaffer went to see QPR so he will know what to expect and he will have us prepared to get the job done," said Tudgay.
"The manager is great. He is so good at keeping our feet on the ground, at keeping us level headed.
"When I came in he told me to be big-headed in my own right – but not to ever get carried away with things.
"You can be a great player – but success can be snatched away from you very quickly.
"He is a great manager and a great character. That filters into the team and I think it shows on the pitch.
"I want to be in the Premier League and I believe we can do it. These are a great bunch of lads, they are very hard-working.
"I think we're all doing well, but we have to work hard to make sure that continues."
Tudgay says Forest will work hard in training this week to ensure they are finely tuned for a massive game this weekend.
"I am not going to say we can't catch them or that we will catch them – we just have to take things slowly," said Tudgay.
"We work hard and we do what we do well. We have players who can have an impact for us, both in the starting line-up and off the bench.
"All we must do is keep grinding out these wins. We might have a few more horrible days, a few more matches where we have to cope with wind, rain and direct, hard opposition. But we will do that.
"It not pressure, not at all. We have to enjoy it while we can. You have to enjoy your successes.
"But this week we will work hard again to try to earn more success."
